Ushi No Tane Forum

I was saving my file yesterday and my screen froze, so i had no choice but to reload my console (I had already saved a little while ago). But when i got to the title screen, the 'Continue' option had gone.
Now i have to restart. Am i the only one that has experienced this?

What happen is when you turn off your game while it was saving, the game becomes corrupted and delete your save files. Since the game was frozen while you were saving, the game erased your saved files. I'm sorry that it happen to you though ):

I've never experienced it, but I've heard of it happening.

Oh. So that's what happened I have experienced this before, but never when saving. Now it has happened about 2 times already, so i had to restart again. So basically, whenever i save, SOMETIMES it freezes. Then i turn my DSI off, and reloaded the game again. The same thing happens. My save file got deleted. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

I don't know of any ways to prevent it, but you can try and minimize the damage if it happens again. In the page I linked, Freyashawk suggests saving to both save slots so if one corrupts, you'll still have the other. That might keep you from losing too much progress in the event of another freeze.

@OP: I had this problem for awhile. What I did was figure out what was triggering it, and avoid it. In my case, it froze whenever I unlocked a Fishing Team Sprite while the Fishing Team was working, so I worked around it by not fishing when the Fishing Team is working.

Actually, i saved on both files. When i saved it in the second slot, it froze. When i reloaded the game again, the second file was still there (But the first one was deleted)! So i'm sticking to that solution from now on.
