I can confirm that "How To Make A Pile of Money" is not required to marry Kiel. I don't know about for Forte, though.runefactor wrote: I also really think you have to see How To Make A Pile of Money and It's A Mistery! to marry Forte and Kiel and Florist by Day, Sleuth by Night! to marry Amber, but I didn't add them because I'm not 100% sure.

I guess it makes sense cause Kiel doesn't even appear in that event, but I still thought it could be cause it reaveals backstory about him. Do you know about It's A Mistery though?Anonymous Fish wrote:I can confirm that "How To Make A Pile of Money" is not required to marry Kiel. I can confirm both of those are NOT required to marry Kiel. All I saw was Part Time Job at The Inn and The Knight's Steed and I was able to trigger Kiel's marriage event no problem. I triggered How to Make a Pile of Money AFTER completing Kiel's marriage event and I've never seen It's a Misteryrunefactor wrote:I guess it makes sense cause Kiel doesn't even appear in that event, but I still thought it could be cause it reaveals backstory about him. Ok so I want to trigger Leon and Arthur's marriage events next... but I cannot for the life of me remember how many dates I've been on with them. I know for both it's north of two, and I'm pretty sure I've fulfilled the 3 date requirement, but I'm not certain. Shot in the dark, but is there any way to check?

Dang it. I figured but was hoping just maybe. Oh well. Just went on another date with Arthur just in case and then I'll throw a bone to Leon and go on one more date with him. Then it's spamming the soft reset for a whileRopeMaidenKirie wrote:Unfortunately no way to check D: I'd just go on one more date for both of them to be certain, just in case.
Edit: Speaking of Kiel's pre-req events, I totally did not get the memo that

I thought this might be worth mentioning, because I thought it was an odd occurrence:
I noticed that the first post suggests to avoid confessing when a sub-event with the targeted character is activated. Strangely, I confessed to Vishnal, on the morning of the Turnip Festival before the contest started, while his "Don't Fall For it, Vishnal!" sub-event was halfway in progress, and he accepted. He had just reached 7 hearts, and Kiel and Arthur were my character's lovers at the time of confession, and I didn't reset once.
I was pretty surprised, because I heard so much about the problems that come with harem-ing. It's definitely possible that I have gotten very lucky, but even when I confessed to Arthur (when Kiel, who accepted at 7 hearts, was a lover already) when he reached 7 hearts, I only had to reset a couple of times for him to accept.
Is there an updated "estimate" for the percentages of accepted confessions that involves heart level/number of lovers? Again, it might just be that I've had great luck, but I'm not so sure that having more lovers lowers the chance of having a confession accepted. Instead, I think whether a confession is accepted really depends upon heart level, and especially advancing to the next heart level for a greater chance of acceptance.
In any case, I've discovered that a confession can be accepted even if a sub-event that involves the person is in progress, so it probably does not affect the chances of having a confession accepted.
