Yup! :D Although if you turn Dylas down, you won't hear about his past or anything like that, so for his in particular, you'll want to watch the entire thing.

I can confirm that "How To Make A Pile of Money" is not required to marry Kiel. I don't know about for Forte, though.

I can confirm that "How To Make A Pile of Money" is not required to marry Kiel. I don't know about for Forte, though.
I guess it makes sense cause Kiel doesn't even appear in that event, but I still thought it could be cause it reaveals backstory about him. Do you know about It's A Mistery though?

I can confirm both of those are NOT required to marry Kiel. All I saw was Part Time Job at The Inn and The Knight's Steed and I was able to trigger Kiel's marriage event no problem. I triggered How to Make a Pile of Money AFTER completing Kiel's marriage event and I've never seen It's a Mistery

Ok so I want to trigger Leon and Arthur's marriage events next... but I cannot for the life of me remember how many dates I've been on with them. I know for both it's north of two, and I'm pretty sure I've fulfilled the 3 date requirement, but I'm not certain. Shot in the dark, but is there any way to check?

Unfortunately no way to check D: I'd just go on one more date for both of them to be certain, just in case.

Dang it. I figured but was hoping just maybe. Oh well. Just went on another date with Arthur just in case and then I'll throw a bone to Leon and go on one more date with him. Then it's spamming the soft reset for a while

Edit: Speaking of Kiel's pre-req events, I totally did not get the memo that
Spoiler:
Bado was best friends with Forte and Kiel's dad and became their guardian after their parents died
until Kiel's marriage event! I think that tidbit comes from How to Make a Big Pile of Money, right? I can totally see why that town event could be considered a pre-req, but weirdly enough it isn't

hm.. on my new game+, I fed Kiel 9 Love Potion.
Without any of prerequisite sub-events, Kiel (at 8 LP) accepted once I confessed for the first time.

So, are we certain these events must be met before confessing?

I thought they were just a prereq for the marriage sub-event.

Serpent is correct; it's for the marriage sub-events, not confessions.

I thought this might be worth mentioning, because I thought it was an odd occurrence:

I noticed that the first post suggests to avoid confessing when a sub-event with the targeted character is activated. Strangely, I confessed to Vishnal, on the morning of the Turnip Festival before the contest started, while his "Don't Fall For it, Vishnal!" sub-event was halfway in progress, and he accepted. He had just reached 7 hearts, and Kiel and Arthur were my character's lovers at the time of confession, and I didn't reset once.
I was pretty surprised, because I heard so much about the problems that come with harem-ing. It's definitely possible that I have gotten very lucky, but even when I confessed to Arthur (when Kiel, who accepted at 7 hearts, was a lover already) when he reached 7 hearts, I only had to reset a couple of times for him to accept.
Is there an updated "estimate" for the percentages of accepted confessions that involves heart level/number of lovers? Again, it might just be that I've had great luck, but I'm not so sure that having more lovers lowers the chance of having a confession accepted. Instead, I think whether a confession is accepted really depends upon heart level, and especially advancing to the next heart level for a greater chance of acceptance. :?:
In any case, I've discovered that a confession can be accepted even if a sub-event that involves the person is in progress, so it probably does not affect the chances of having a confession accepted.

Married Dolce recently in my game. I really loved her event. I know Alys just did a walkthrough guide for Dolce's main event but if anybody here's not gonna do a Lest file but wants to know details involving what hers is about, decided to type something up about it.
Spoiler:
Kiel calls Lest in the town square one day and tells him about a centuries old legend about when several people write on a charm in Leon Karnak, it's guaranteed to ensure a happy family. The next day, Lest spots Dolce near the Selfia lakeside. Pico's sprite appears for this event. Dolce begins to reminisce about the legend and about how much time had passed since she became guardian. She tells Lest how she and Pico wrote their names on the charm centuries ago.

A day later, Lest suggests that Dolce and Pico come with him to see if their names are still written on the charm in Leon Karnak's foot. When they get to the town gate, Nancy follows them and wonders where they're going. Nancy starts giving her a motherly banter about making sure she has enough medicines, spare handkerchiefs, ect. Dolce interrupts her; asking that she doesn't treat her like a child. Nancy respects her adoptive daughter's request and wishes them a safe journey. Afterwards, Pico scolds Dolce about not being open enough about her feeling which she shrugs off.

They arrive at Leon Karnak and they find out that their names are no longer there which Dolce suspected was the case. Pico then spots a Moondrop flower near the foot of the tower. This brings back an old memory from Dolce as she remembers how her real mother always replaced the Moondrop flowers on the vase for her and Pico when they were younger so it didn't seem like they died and wilted. Pico knew the entire time but it made her happy nonetheless. They head back to town and inside their house, Dolce starts crafting flower headgear. Nancy comes inside her room and asks if she wants any snacks. Dolce asks her not to trouble herself over her. After Nancy leaves the room, Pico scolds Dolce again. Then the group realized how pale Nancy looked when she checked on them which implies Dolce responded the way she did because she didn't want to trouble her or anything.

The day after, Lest goes inside the Tiny Bandage Clinic and sees various flower headgear/crowns/vases/ect scattered all over. Nancy and Jones explain that Dolce apparently made those for the two of them. Jones and Nancy offer Lest some of the flowers they recieved from her. Another day later, Pico mentions to Lest that Nancy and Jones offered to go to Leon Karnak with them but Dolce refused. Pico scolds Dolce again to which the latter replies with that she still feels like she's interfering with Nancy and Jones's lives.

The next day later, Lest finds a collapsed Nancy being tended to by a nervous Dolce. Lest has Dolce call Jones for help while he takes Nancy to bed. When Nancy comes to her senses, she tells Lest about how worried she had been these past few days as to whether or not Dolce hated her. She recalls how she met Jones.

When Nancy was around Dolce's age, she was a nursing student who was just about ready to give up on her dream as a nurse. She was involved in a landslide accident and it was Jones who saved her life. She remembered the warmth of Jones's hand being the very thing that gave her another reason to live. She admits that prior to the incident, she had become indifferent towards the idea of whether or not she lived or died. When the accident happened, she said that she felt true fear for her own life for the first time. When she recovered, Nancy states that she had never been happier when Jones asked "Are you alright." She replied with, "I'm not alright!" but the fact she was alive and that Jones was by her side made her happy at the time. She says that Jones saved her, both physically and emotionally. She then talks about the bonds of blood and how things such as the warmth of a tight hand holding on to you has enough love to encompass biological relations.

The next day, Dolce remains quiet and distant. Nancy reveals to Lest that she had ran away from home. Lest goes over to the Castle Square and confronts Dolce about Nancy. After several distant exchanges, Lest successfully convinced Dolce to go and see Nancy. When they arrive at the clinic, both of them see Nancy cooking in the kitchen and acting like nothing happened. Lest and Dolce scold and urge her to rest. Nancy collapses again and is taken to bed once more. When Jones comes to her side, he gives her Fried Rice and Flan: the first things she's ever cooked for him. Jones then recalls how they met from his point of view. He tells Nancy about how he was just a novice medical student and how the only thing he was able to amply to her injuries were emergency procedures he was taught in medical school. However, the fact that his hands were locked with hers at the time made him relieved enough. A bit of a romantic moment between the two and Dolce decides to give them some space.

A day later, Dolce is still distant and quiet. Pico's sprite appears in front of Lest again and she asks how Dolce can connect with Nancy and Jones better as she feels that expressing her feelings through words won't work. A day after, Lest suggests to Dolce that she expresses it in different ways like a gift or anything else, as long as those feelings get through. Dolce agrees to this idea and the next day, she and Pico are seen making accessories for Jones and Nancy. Lest oversees the scene and believes that they're okay now. Nancy comes into her room and sees the crafts that they're making. Nancy compliments Dolce and she goes on about how she's part of her family and that she can come to her anytime she wants to. She tells Nancy to be quiet and declares that she's not her daughter. She rushes downstairs; leaving Nancy pale and silenced.

Lest confronts Dolce near the exit and Pico appears to scold her. It escalates into an argument between them. Pico yells at Dolce about how she has to quit hiding herself in ice and in response, she tells her that "A ghost could never understand my pain!" Dolce stops and realizes that what she meant to say didn't come out right. To Pico, it sounded like "A ghost could never be part of a family!" Pico then agrees and asks how a ghost could ever be part of a family but she tells Dolce that Nancy and Jones consider her as such and asks her not to take it all for granted. Dolce's emotional breaking point comes in and she breaks down into tears. She admits that she was absolutely happy when Nancy and Jones took in a complete stranger like her. However, she confesses that part of her still misses her real parents. She asks Pico as to how she could easily just forget about her real family. Dolce agrees that Jones and Nancy have loved her like family but she adds that she belonged to one long before she became guardian. The thought that nobody is going to preserve their memory frightens her. Dolce states that she's lived in that era and only she carries those memories which is why she's scared of getting too close to Nancy and Jones. She runs out of the clinic, leaving Lest and Pico alone.

Pico begins to tell Lest about how she lived (or wandered as a ghost) prior to meeting Dolce. Pico reveals that she was probably waaaaay coldblooded than Dolce before they met. Cold to the point that she doesn't even remember how many years it had been since she died or how she died in the first place. All Pico did was wander for centuries. She acknowledged people who could see her but even then they just ignored her or were scared off by her presence. Pico was indifferent and aloof to the world so she kept wandering. One day, she noticed that a baby smiled and pointed at her. Pico admitted that she was just going to pass her by but she stopped and looked at that baby. Pico reached out her hand but she regretted it at first, realizing that nobody could ever touch her. Nobody could ever feel her. The baby's tiny arm grabbed her hand; much to Pico's surprise. Pico tells Lest how tears streamed down her cheeks that day and how Dolce saved her. She tells Lest that it was baby Dolce that melted her icy heart. To pay Dolce back, Pico remains with her and wishes to melt the ice that once infected her.

Lest goes and confronts Dolce near the lakeside in town. She confesses that Pico was never really with them when her real family went to Leon Karnak ages ago. Dolce's mother apparently wrote Pico's name down for her. (didn't really understand this part, correct me if I'm wrong cause I read the text too fast) Lest holds Dolce's hand and says that if she wants to preserve her family's memory that much, she could tell him. Lest asks her to tell him everything about the era she lived in. Dolce tears up and does just that. Following a long conversation near the lake, Dolce and Lest agree to go apologize to Nancy. When Dolce apologizes, Nancy does so as well. She claims that she herself had not been considerate about how afraid Dolce might have been about simply abandoning the memory of her original family. Nancy vows that she'll become a better mother for her. Nancy notices after that Pico is nowhere near them. Dolce and Lest search outside the town gates for the ghost. Forte then comes in and claims that she last saw Pico exiting town. A sign then appears which Dolce assumes is Pico at first but isn't in reality. The sign tells them that Pico went to "the place or promise". Dolce realizes that the sign means Leon Karnak. They rush over there quickly as Pico would disappear if she's too far away from her.

When they get to Leon Karnak, they find Pico. Dolce scolds her for wandering too far. Pico says that she went to the foot of the tower to find their names again which she couldn't do so. She then says that in the end, even a ghost couldn't keep that promise. Dolce scolds her again, this time breaking into tears. She tells Pico that bonds of blood, charms or promises never mattered to her. She simply wanted Pico not to leave her side ever again. She hugs Pico and apologizes for what she did to her earlier. After making up, Dolce asks if it was Pico who summoned that sign, to which she replies that she didn't. They notice some writing appear near the foot of the tower. The writing thanks Lest for what he did and asks for them to be happy. Dolce tears up again and realizes that it was her parents who summoned that sign and crafted that message.

Once they return to Selfia, Nancy and Jones greet Dolce and company at the gate. Nancy hugs Dolce and says that she and Jones were worried about them. When Jones makes a comment about how relieved he is that they're safe, Nancy makes a witty comment about how Dolce won't be any longer once she's through with her. Dolce gasps and Nancy scolds her about the dangers of the wilderness and how it's no place for a lady. Pico tries joining in too but Nancy includes the ghost, stating that a girl is a girl, corporeal or not. Nancy stops and then says that she'll scold them a bit more later but is overall glad that they're safe. Nancy then reminds herself not to treat Dolce like a child...but Dolce tells her that it's okay. Dolce happily admits that she's part of their family and that she wouldn't have it any other way. She invites Lest for some Flan at their house and they walk home together with Jones, Nancy and Pico, holding hands.

@Anon - No updated percentages, sorry D: It's been so different for so many people that I think it would be way too many variables. Glad you've been having good luck though!

@Dai -
Spoiler:
Thanks for the incredibly in depth summary! Her event sounds really nice (a bit on the angsty side, but hey, a lot of them are that way xD) but it's nice to see there's a lot of relationship building between nancy/jones and her, along with Lest. Also nice to know about her past and parents.
