For the bachelor/ettes that can be married during the 1st story arc - Does anyone know if they still able to be married afterwards? Also, if they can be, do you have to be dating them before finishing it?

Has anyone broke down how to succeed or fail at the date options (get closer, hold hands, etc.). The girls seem to freak out no matter what I do. Do I need more hearts?

So after reading the first post this seemed to explain a lot, but I just wanted to make things clear. So villagers/marriage candidates don't have individual events in this game? Like, message board events from the last 3 games?

and so far the only events people ask for are ones to improve myself, not relationships. Are there ever any get to know them requests, or is it just the dating system and what comes after? Because so far I've been feeling a little disappointed, I really liked those requests :/

Freak out? Some of the dialogue for the guys has them freaking out, but then they get a heart over their head so I always took it to mean they were okay with everything. I didn't know you could fail with those date options!

Well just 'standing closer' to Xiao Pai seems to make her just freak out and pushes you away, though she still gets the heart symbol. Touching Forte's head really makes her uncomfortable and she tells you to stop. Also seems that when at the restaurant that either feeding them or them feeding you (the only options you have) really doesn't work for either of these girls.

On the flip side, if you try to kiss Xiao Pai she kisses you first instead. So kissing is ok (she also likes hugs), but standing close or holding hands is awkward to her. Just wish she'd make up her mind.

I was just wondering if I get her love up to 11 or more hearts if the getting close and other options change any or if they still freak out.

Sadly they don't really have individual "get to know them" requests anymore. A lot of getting to know them comes from sub-events and talking to people.

I don't think they change. I try to hold hands with Dylas after we're married and he stills freaks out...
Guess that's just part of their personalities. Forte,for example,has no experience in love.

I'm trying to trigger the town event with Leon in order for him to propose.
I was wondering, if I have him as part of my team & I save the night before I go to sleep, and I keep resetting and going to sleep over and over again, will he eventually say he has to go because there's a town event going on?

Yes and no. If he's in the event (aka you triggered the town event he's in), he'll leave once that event triggers. But if you've triggered a different event while sleep/resetting (that happens), then you have to finish THAT event before another one will trigger. I've found the easiest way to sleep/reset is to sleep for a few days, if he doesn't leave, talk to everyone in town. If no event has triggered, or one you don't want has triggered, reset. Rinse and repeat.

...Do I need to do anything else to unlock Eliza's request with the ring? Like complete a certain one? I have met the requirements but the request won't show up in my male file.
