The amazon.jp link says there's a promo Angora Rabbit phone strap when you order the game. This isn't up on the official MAQL site yet.

Looks like Elise is a farmer of some sort. That one kanji is puzzling me. It's more than I know

Maybe she is the heiress to a plantation farm of some kind and she pays others to do the work for her?

I just can't imagine her getting her hands dirty in those pretty ruffles. But, interesting nonetheless.

That group shot of characters is very interesting. The cast certainly seems like it will be impressive overall. I'm really looking forward to the official reveal of the two characters with pinkish hair in the back row. They look awesomely fancy.

I'm really loving the style of this game so far, and all the characters look really cool. I love the style of the clothing and whatnot, so I'm pretty impressed so far. Lilie and Lega look really good, and Veronica looks really awesome as well.

It would definitely be cool if we could swim in the game also.

Could Veronica and that maid be related? Their hair looks very similar, in color and style. I'd wager that the maid is her daughter. Then again, you can't get a good look at her, so who knows.

I actually thought this as well. Although, I'm wondering if the maid isn't a maid, but could possibly be a waitress or a nurse. A nurse or a waitress would make a little more sense as a mayor's daughter.

@EphemeralClemency: I didn't think of that! It's sure a possibility, but honestly...I would be kind of disappointed. The character looks pretty snazzy and I was hoping for more new characters and not as much as old ones. Hair looks a bit too pink to be him, but he his sprite/whatever it's called may just have a different shade then the portrait.

I'll get excited for this later... first I have to finish Pokémon X...then get New Beginning.. then cry and wait for RF4.. Hometown Story squeezed in there somewhere.. Then Kingdom Hearts 1.5 then 3 then *brain explodes from prospect of so many games*

ME-0009764 I use AmiAmi to import most of my Japanese games and they've been really good to me :D I'm happy to get my preorder in now so that I don't have to worry about it later on.

I kind of hope that they make a Harvest Moon game for the Wiiu. I would LOVE to have a new town set up there, and using the game pad as inventory/map would be pretty awesome.

I want a Wii U HM that's like a mix of the AWL and AP mechanics.
Like the realistic but still cartoon-looking animals and watching your kid grow up with certain interests in things, and the weather system in AWL.
And the ability to have 2 kids and other reasons that I forgot right now that are in AP. Oh and like ANB with more freedom in customizing your character and move around your farm.
But that's just wishful thinking on my part

The guy in purple looks as if he has slightly longer hair than Rega and Fritz. It also looks as if he's wearing some kind of headgear?I first thought he might be a servant, but maybe he's a prince? Oh and Fritz actually looks tall enough to be a bachelor here.

AmiAmi has slower shipping than Play-Asia or CDJapan (EMS... is my definition of slow :p), but their prices are cheaper to make up for it.

I assume if you preorder through AmiAmi you don't get the rabbit strap that amazon.co.jp does (assuming you use a shipping service to order from them)? The Amiami page was kind of vague so I was curious if either of you knew. I'm tempted to use AmiAmi but I might use amazon.co.jp and my shipping service for that strap.
