Animal Crossing 2

I was on gamespot.com and I came across animal crossing 2. It's in the making! It should be good!!!!!

For what platform? Ps2, GameCube? I would really like it to be on PS2 because I dont have a gamecube. Or at least the same game on both platforms

No way it's gonna be on the PS2. Nintendo isn't gonna relinquish its cash cow!

Ummm actually the one on the DS is called Animal Crossing DS, there different games. Im pretty sure its gonna be on gamecube, because, lets face it, all the animal crossing games have been from nintendo. First, Animal Forest (N64) which was only released in Japan, second Animal Crossing (GCN) and now Animal Crossing DS (DS) so its probably gonna be for Gamecube. Anyways, Im really excited about this game, but not as excited as I am for HM:POH.

Well, I heard of Animal Crossing 2 two years ago, or something like that. Now AC DS has been announced, but still no further news on AC2. I have reason to believe that 2 is DS.

Released only in Japan.
it's basically an extension on Animal Crossing (cus their first version didn't have the e+ Reader)

Gemini: Not correct. You wouldn't call it AC2, because it's known as animal forest in japan (like you've pointed out)

AC2 is the code name for the sequel that was announced about 2-3 months after the US release of AC. AC DS is not so far looking much like a sequal. It looks more like AC+ with some possible WLAN or maybe even online capabilities.

AC2 likely won't be seen on GCN. There is only a year left in it's development cycle and there hasn't been any word at all. I think you'll be waiting for revolution.

Since it's highly unlikely that Animal Crossing 2 will be released for the GCN, maybe it will be a release title for the next console.

AC1's graphics were just holder over N64 graphics. Why they didn't take the time to flesh out the models or use cell shading or something to make up for it, I don't really know.

It could be for all 3.They did that with the sims bustin' out and the sims in the urbz.

I've been doing some research on this, and it is most deffinatly for Gamecube so sorry Harvest_Moon_Gurl

And by the pictures that i've seen the graphics,personally, I don't think they got anybetter! But i did hear you can get a golden shovel, Which i don't really now what that is about...(i thought the old one was good enough

) I hear it's also multiplayer(4 people) but i'm not that sure on that part of it

One site said a release date of Dec. 31 2003 which is « Puppy Doodoo » since..you know...so yeah...But that's all that i have for now. I hope this helps your eager long wait for Animal Crossing 2

I figured out hat you can get the golden shovel in the 1st game. Which is really useful when you don't have money!!!!!!!
