I did Rock's black heart event. Now I already have him on a blue heart, but I can't get his purple heart event to work. I wonder if it is because after doing his black heart event, I stupidly threw items on the ground and his LP went down to zero. That shouldn't matter though if I have him at blue heart and did the black heart event.

What am i doing wrong

So I take it you got his heart back up after all the littering? And you're at the right location/time:

Purple Heart Event
» Inner Inn, lobby
» 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, not Tuesday or Friday, rainy day
» Rock has a purple heart color or higher
» You have seen the black heart event

If so, just keep trying. Sometimes people have trouble triggering events and it takes a few tries.

Oh, and you definitely haven't accidentally seen all his and Lumina's rival events?

Yeah I got his LP points back up to mid 20,000s now and he has a blue heart. I have a question: does it work in the winter? for ex: it is snowing on wed, and i go to the inn. would that trigger the event or does it have to be rain, not snow?

Idk i have gone to the inn while raining as specified so many times and nothing. About to give up on him

It doesn't specify snow, so I would assume it doesn't work in winter.

Have you tried not going in at the exact time? Like trying at 12, 1, etc?

yes. I go in a different times. I have some time to wait now anyway. I am in winter.

Not sure why it won't activate the scene

Have you tried weather resetting? I had trouble with the purple one but I got there eventually.

no, I havent. I don't know how to do that. Do you mind telling me how?

If say you wanted to activate it on a wednesday for example, save your game on monday night. On tuesday morning, see what the weather will be like on wednesday. If it's rainy, go to the inn at the right time. If not, reset to monday night and keep doing that until you get rain for wednesday. This way you'll get the right weather on the right day which might help activate it.
