I'm with Vinny, I'm hoping George will teach me how to give me and my farm a fabulous flair~

Even though I think rival pairings are great, and make the game more fun/interesing, I'm not sure that I feel like any of these characters really "belong" together. I'm just hoping if it is a player-choice thing like in FE:A, then I can pair them up based on how I feel about them after I meet them and everything; but at this point, I guess I won't get my hopes up too much.

Maybe my little theory about Edda being the Harvest Goddess in disguise isn't too far off. Preferably the Hero of Leaf Valley Version, haha.

The past two games have had 12 candidates so there may be more or 10 is all we're getting. We don't know if Elise and Fritz are the last or if they're not.

Alright, OP updated and added a new poll!

I definitely think there will be at least one more pair. I'd be happy with 5 pairs myself because I love the choices so far (and would rather have quality over quantity) but don't think they will just stop here. I'm still assuming we'll have a couple more villagers + a final pair. Since we have about 3 1/2 weeks until release, it'll probably be a few weeks until we see the next new batch of characters.

I guess to go along with the poll, how do everyone feel about the characters so far? I'm personally way more excited than I was for ANB.. I wasn't digging a lot of the candidate or character reveals for that game.

I'm loving all of these characters. I agree with you there Rope; I'm much more excited about this game than ANB. In any Harvest Moon or Rune Factory game (with the exception of RF4) I always have 2 or 3 candidates that I know I want to marry. This time around, I can't choose between ANY of them! Even Mistel, the guy I figured I didn't want to be with, seems appealing to me. Even when I saw Nadi and thought "Wow, okay, he's the one!" all of the candidates are still appealing to me.

Edit: Also, after looking at all the pictures, is anyone else thinking "I don't think we're building houses" or "This town has a planned layout!"

They are all ok so far. Only 1 Bachelorette I'm really only interested in. But I'd rather have that than multiple. Then I'd kick myself on who to choose lol. Wouldn't want to go through another MM or AP lol.

They all look great, but the bachelors deeeefinitely look better then the gals. Only two of the ladies interests me, and that's Iris and Elise (Ririe has a lovely design but sounds like she could be reaaally boring in game). Menou could've been really cute (I like her outfit a lot) but her hair still bothers me. Angela has a boring design.

Out of the guys, I'm interested in Nadi, Rega, and Fritz. Klaus is also a high possibility, as he looks really nice, too. Mistel will have to climb over mountains with his personality in order to win me over. Generally not crazy about the shotas, lol. But he looks cute, despite that.

Yeah, I actually like every single bachelor this time around.. so while I have a few "favorites" right now, I bet that's going to change quite a bit when playing the game. I reallllllly hope for more than just 2 save slots xD;

I wish they would talk more about the customization so that we'd know how much town customization there is. I'm hoping for less of it, and more customization for your own farm personally.

@Brose - I agree, maybe it's just because I'm biased though always playing a female MC (when I can at least). Though I'm honestly thinking about making a male file this time around, as Iris and Elise sound really interesting.
