seaweed isn't worth the bother except for the two dishes where it's needed as an ingredient, those two happen to be necessary for trading with Sandra to get the sofa blueprint (oshinko roll) and the kappa roll, which is needed for the eastern furniture set if I recall correctly.

I have given away those two dishes on multiplayer a few times, though I doubt many people really understood what they were supposed to do with them.

I tried looking for the info too and couldn't find it! Glad this thread helped someone else out as well :)

Wait.. One thing still confuses me.. If you can pick up both o.o Then does that give you more FP with both turtles per visit? =o Or have I made a mistake?

Feeding one turtle makes both turtles happy
But picking up one turtle does not make both turtles happy, only the turtle you pick up

So you'll want to still pick up both turtles. Eventually a 3rd turtle will show up, I picked it up too just to be safe. And then the Islet turtle will appear when you reach the friendship level required to head to the islet. So, you'll need to visit 27 times making sure to feed one of them and picking up both/all three of them. I lost count of days I went so I ended up getting the cut scene/access to the islet earlier than I thought I would lol

So, pick up all of the turtles when I see them, and give one of them fish....?
No sweat. I've set my pets to heard out animals, so I don't have to worry about anything.

Yep! And yeah having farm pets is really good for this because of that reason :) But the pet cut scene annoys me so much so I don't have any farm pets xD Just one dog, and he stays in the house lol

I find it annoying, but on weekends, I could have Rod forage for stuff.
I'm waiting for the day when I find out something big. I'm hoping for a girl kid.

Ah, So feed one, pick up all. Seems simple enough.. Again, thank you. xD Just needed to make sure I didn't screw it up. I want those mangoes! >:3 And yeah.. Those pets are handy. Though I keep an eye on the time.. when it gets close to 7am, i leave the farm for a minute and then walk back, cut-scene avoided. But anyways. thanks again Majick. Also, This is a little off topic but, what town restoration plan are you up to? I'm just curious.

You shouldn't have to pick up or feed any animal from a family more than once a day, according to the guide:

http://fogu.com/hm11/activities/wild-animals.php

So, just feeding and picking up one turtle should be enough it seems. As in, what you do to one animal counts for the family (even if you pick up both turtles, you only get the one +10 FP).

I think I asked someone about that and they told me I had to pick them all up to get the friendship level up completely. But hey, if not that's even better for other people to know!

As for the TRPs, I'm done :) My game's actual storyline is complete. I just got married to Felicity and am currently working in leveling up my crops, collecting coconuts for greenhouses and trying to befriend villagers for Blueprints. I already got all the blueprints from Neil, Dunhill, Emma, Iroha and Kosaboro done. Working on Olivia now :)

Wow.. o.o Congrats on finishing it. I'm almost done.. Just want to friend those damn turtles for some mangoes. But anyway, I think I'm off topic so.. I think I'll stop posting. So I don't get in trouble from a moderator.

So I've got the turtles up to hearts and music notes and unlocked the third turtle, what do I do next? the guide says talk to the third turtle near the fish trap, but all he does is pick up and shows the heart animation?

Yeah, the guide is wrong on that. You're ALMOST there though :) You probably only have a few more visits left and then you'll get the cut scene, where a 4th turtle appears, and THAT ONE is the one that will take you to the Islet with the Bananas and Mangoes.
