End game?

I'm wondering what people do after they hit their goals or major milestones in the game. Or in other words, what is the end game?
I guess for most people, the aim of the game is to get married, unlock all the sprites, get the vacation villa, etc... But what do you do after you have acheived all that?
A little over a month ago, I started a new game. I'm now in Year 2 Spring 30, have over 9 million gold (most of which was earned during Year 2 Spring), pretty much upgraded everything (but haven't got the vacation villa yet, but can very easily raise the funds to buy it when the time comes), and I'm working on wooing Celia and Flora for the hot spring. I don't really care too much about finding all the sprites or completing the shipping list, or other similar tedious tasks. I'm guessing I would've reached my goals within Year 3-4.
I suppose I could get back to playing Island of Happiness when I am done with HM DS? But I was never too fond of the new 3D style of Harvest Moon and the over reliance on the stylus and touch screen.
Off topic: I'm currently working on a website-based farm planner for HM DS. I'm new to HTML5 and Javascript so it has been an interesting experience, and the site is slowly getting there.
