I think you mean more 'how do I get a child', but that works too!
You have to wait 31 days after getting the Extra Large Bed, and then your wife will tell you that she's pregnant. Then wait 62 days, and then poof! you have now spawned a child in your game.

I'm joking XD but in the game, you just magically get pregnant if you are a girl and if you are a boy, your wife just suddenly gets pregnant as well :>
