Playing on a 3DS

I'm sure that this is impossible, but I wanted to make sure. I'm playing Harvest Moon DS cute on my 3DS. I'm wondering if it is possible to connect to MFoMT? I wouldn't know how I could do that, since there is no gba slot. I'm assuming that I am wishing for something impossible.
Just to note, that I lost the doodad that allows GBA games to be played on my old DS.
Thanks In Advance, sorry for the stupid question.

Impossible without an old first generation DS as everything from DSi up has no GBA slot. Not sure what you mean by 'lost your doodad'?

As lemo said, you can't with 3ds. The original ds and the ds lite both have a GBA game slot. I will add, however, that once you connect the two once, you're good. For the rest of that file, anyways. If you just load the game with MFoMT in the GBA slot, the Mineral Town villagers will visit daily. You'll need to do this for each file.
What I'm getting at, I guess, is that you don't necessarily need to have a ds/lite of your own. If you have a friend with one, you could just borrow it for a couple of minutes ^_^
