You can leave all the maker sheds to work by themselves while you do other things.
That's a relief. Lol.

Yes. Animal Medicine also works for tools category.

Which takes up more farmland space? a farm entirely of crops, produce trees, and crop related farm buildings, Or a ranch with the greenhouse and livestock related maker sheds

Are mushroom seeds only seasonal, or could they be grown all year round?

At which heart/flower levels do the bachelors dialogue turns romantic?

I don't really know about the farmland space, sorry >.<

Mushrooms can be grown all year round.

Dialogue starts being romantic once you start dating a person. If you're not, then dialogue at higher flower levels is just friendly.

Both.
You can grow them all year long, but each type of mushroom has a particular season where you'll harvest 2x as much as usual.

A) Not sure exactly what you mean by farmland space but I'll give it a go.

Winter year 1 massive spoiler:
Spoiler:
If you haven't reached Winter 1 yet then I'll just say you don't really have to worry about space on your immediate farm. Your main area gets cramped fast but you get to use Eda's farm in your first Winter and she has a LOT of space. I plan on having two of every fruit tree there and that won't even take up half the space. Maker sheds for me go there as well and that leaves a nice little area to let trees and rocks pop up whenever they like. Will probably move the barns/coops there eventually as well.

Downside to this area is that 9 or of 10 people who visit your farm won't do squat to help you with those crops/animals and I can't say I really blame them. Hence why it's used for trees for me, long lasting and only need a bit of star maintenance.
Each greenhouse contains 15 crop squares so you can fit more crops on your farm by putting them inside of greenhouses since a greenhouse takes up less room than 15 plots. But with a greenhouse you can only water once per day so you get slower crop growth.

For me, my main farm area is almost exclusively for crops I'm trying to raise the star value of. Even while raising trees and tea leaves I'd have 1/2 there and just cut em down and replant on the tree/tea fields once I had them to 5 stars. The faster you raise your crop's level and get the required numbers shipped out to unlock vendors, the less time/space you really need to devote to them.

Also, I almost never plant grains on my farm since those fields are en route to town so it's not out of my way to water them.

Question:

Does the game ever give you a way to water more than one plot at once? I'm at Master level for all of my tools but from what I can tell in the tools section upgrading just makes the watering can a bit faster and hold more water.

Also, when do rivals start asking to buy fields you own?

I don't think they ever do, unfortunately.

I got a money offer on winter year 1. Not sure if it's possible earlier than that.

Spoiler:
I believe it was tropical/ice that sold the blueprints for the coop/barn blueprint you're after, iirc. Sugarcanes are from tropical country.

Spoiler:
I've got the philosopher's tools, and it's just faster and holds more water. But you basically powerwalk while watering, so it's great.

Rivals start asking to take over the fields you've rented if 2-3 days pass after your rental field's permit expires and you don't renew your lease. If you don't want to be challenged, just make sure to renew your lease on time.

Question about the watering combo. Does it matter when I water? As in can I do it at night and it will count twice, or does it have to be in the morning?

A nice penguin gave me some sugarcane on multiplayer. I swear it was 5*. However when I harvested it, it became 4.5*. I planted it on the conquest field. Anyone has any idea why that happens?
