I am trying to get luminas love points up and I am going to give her approved gifts everyday I got it up to 3,000 but the next day I went back it went down to under 1,000 and now it's gone down to 0 even though I visit her everyday with gifts from the list I know she likes this is getting me mad as I would like to get a wife can anyone tell me why this is happening and what can I do to stop it thanks Leanne

There are things you can do to lower someone's affection for you:
-Littering (the most common cause. That's when you just drop items on the ground instead of putting them in the garbage or shipping bin)
-Animal deaths (pretty straight forward. If one of your animals dies, even of old age, people will like you less)
-Answering incorrectly during Heart Events (this only applies to bachelorettes. If you say something wrong during a Heart Event she will lose affection)

You can litter on your farmland, just not around the valley. Dropping stuff into water also counts.
