Yeah, the ME3 team said they forgot about Thane's romance until the last minute :/ I feel really bad for Thanemancers (worse for Jacobmancers though, geez lol)

October seems so far away ; ; I'll probably do what I did with other Bioware games. Get a bunch of noms together, have my dinners precooked and frozen so I don't have to make anything and just play my life away for a few days.

@Brose - Really?? I love Merrill's accent. Welsh is super sexy!

I absolutely love Merrill's voice. Eve Miles rocked that role and gave a it a lot of character.

I know I'm picking it up for the PS4.. I normally play them on PC but to be honest I don't if our computers can handle the game. If the specs come out and we can run them okay I think we'll probably get him a PC version and I'll stick with the PS4 (and I'll buy myself a PC copy down the line).

Or we'll just buy one PS4 version and leave it at that. His intensive French classes got bumped to September so he'll be gone from like 7am to 11pm 4 days a week. I'll have free reign of the PS4 since I'm assuming he'll just only want to play on the weekends. This means on release day I have to brave the local french EBgames by myself to get my game xD totally worth it though!

I wish my boyfriend loved the series. He thinks I'm a bit obsessed with BioWare's games. He said he'll try Mass Effect when he visits in a month; can't wait for that!

And I've changed my strategy around for playing DA as well. I'm going insane; I'm going through every origin and making all six playthroughs! Replaying as a mage and a warrior will feel weird in DAO. I'm really going to play the crud out of these games! I'm going to see if I can get those last 5 achievements I need in DAO as well.

I'm going to hate myself for choosing Loghain over Alistair in two of my playthroughs, but at least I'll be rewarded for doing so. I'll have him perform the dark ritual with Morrigan and then have him be the ultimate sacrifice.

I've only ever gone through the game with one story set in motion and never have seen the consequences of the other actions take place; I figured this time around it was best to see everything through and through.

Merrill's voice is growing on me, for sure, but still kind of on the fence with it. Sometimes it's nice, and sometimes it sounds a bit off.

DA 2

Finally recruited Fenris. Now, only have to get Isabela and all the LIs are recruited. Fenris...is something else, lol. He's got a nice toosh. All the elves look so weird, tho. Fenris looks the best out of all of them, but his nose (and others') bothers me greatly.

Sooooo. Now I'm just stuck between Fenris and Anders and really not sure where I want to lean, orz. Fenris is kind of moody/broody, but he's hot and I really like his voice. Anders is really...unstable, but he's still a decent guy (crazy, but they all are) and I still like him and ajflsdjfals;djfasdf.

Also, not crazy about the dialogue style in DA2. It's...ugh. Also, the flirt choices are TERRIBLE given most of these current situations.

I think what I like best about Fenris is his voice actor. He voiced my favorite person to marry in Fire Emblem Awakening: Gaius. Ah, Gaius. You could always do another playthrough and romance the one you didn't in your current playthrough.

Gideon Emery is one of my fav voice actors. I've loved him since Balthier in FF12.

Well, I kind of wanted to woo one of them with a straight!ladyhawke, but I think I may just go lesbian with Isabela, if I like her. Merrill is cute...but no.

Wow Ronin you're sure gonna need a lot of free time lol I love DAO but I wouldn't play it that many times in a row. Maybe if more changed after the origin depending on your choices. And if there weren't levels like Ostagar, Deep Roads and The Fade...

I love Gideon Emery so much too. He speaks pure « Chicken Hugging ».

nah, I think it's her voice. Just...really not what I was expecting? Maybe I'll grow to like it, but for now...ehhhhh.

Also the whole "blood mage" thing is a bit of a "NOPE." Blood magic is dangerous stuff and she seems very naïve about it, so yeah, not going down the road, LOL.

Really huh? Her voice is actually one of my favorite things about her. XD She's not my favorite LI though...

Her rivalmance is about opposing that kind of thing but still caring about her as a person and stuff btw.

Yeah, I'm the same as Rune xD Good luck with all your playthroughs Ronin. There's no way in hell I would do it, or have the time for it myself.

Not to mention we have to recreate all our files in the Dragon Age Keep anyways. Plus I heard they have codices that you'll be able to read about the choices you can make, lore, etc. It's apparently going to be pretty involved by the sound of it.

The Deep Roads and Ostagar I can handle; it's Lothering, the first time at Camp, and the Fade I can't. I do have plenty of free time with my job walking dogs in my neighborhood and online college. I do love the game's story. The way I see it depending on the gender and the race of the Warden do change the story quite a bit. Dialog is changed if the Warden is female despite the race and a male Warden is always expressed by his race and never gender. Plus, it's quests like the Epilogue and Test of Faith that really show the differences in the origins. Well, today will just be the origin stories (and I was right, Mage Origin is my least favorite; Dwarf Commoner was better than this) and Friends of Mineral Town. At least it's not a demanding Harvest Moon game that I'm playing along with DAO.

@Kirie, oh, I'm only doing one canon for Dragon Age Keep. There are some choices that make me sick to my stomach

like tainting Andraste's ashes, letting Loghain live, or killing any of my party members.

and there are some choices that I just don't understand

like crowning either Harrowmont or Bhelin; both choices seem wrong for Orzammar,

but there are some choices I've got to see through; make every choice count, right? And I've only ever romanced Zevran, Alistair, Anders, and Isabela. I've seen the other's romances and choices on YouTube and read them on the Dragon Age wiki, but it's better to experience them for yourself.

I really didn't like the Mage Origin, orz.

choices are either being a dumbass or a rat. It's a « Cow Poopy » situation to be in and with super « Cow Poopy »/stupid options, although the mage class is suuuuuper handy I just don't really enjoy this origin, orz.

I actually liked the Orzammar situation?

I like how it showed a really good..."gray" kind of situation? Like, Harrowmount is far more likable, but he's a « Cow Poopy » ruler. Bhelen is a douchesnozzle, but he's a far better ruler and better for Orzammar, and there is no way for you not to avoid it. It's one of the better decisions the game forces you to make and one of the harder ones to decide, imo.
