Bioware Games Thread - Always waiting

You seem to be having fun with it.

I got Blackwall and Iron Bull and with those trials open I managed to get a schematic from them; that's one out of two of the new ones that don't come from the war table operations. That's why I'm going through it again; Trespasser added in more schematics and I must have them ALL!

I haven't progressed too far yet, but yeah I am! It's quite a bit of fun. You can actually make bases and stuff, so I'm remodeling a house for a group of people at the moment, so I'm getting way sidetracked lol.

Having the main character voiced really helps immersion for me. I've ran into quite a few text bugs, but Bethesda games are always buggy, so I'm making a ton of saves to be safe.

Character looks pretty great outside of the character creator too, which is a huge plus! Don't have to remake her, lol (playing on PS4).

I bought Fallout 4! Should've gotten cards for my vita games I'm due on but I'm such a fickle thing.

Unfortunately I can't name after myself, but I can name my characters, "Boobies"! Always fun.

lol some of those names are hilarious. It's only the robot that calls you by it audibly, so it's really not that huge of a deal imo.

Most of the new schematics that Trespasser added are tied to the war table missions as well as some of the trophies, so I knew that a new game would be required.

I was afraid of that. I guess it's not that big of a deal then. When I heard the initial announcement it sounded like those names would be registered to every piece of dialogue.

@Ronin - Ahh, well damn. :/ I'm sure I'll get around to it sometime next year when there's a lull in releases on the horizon. So many great games coming out next year though!

Yeah, it's too bad, though it would kinda be insane for all voice actors to say all 1000 voices, so I can definitely see why they didn't. I guess it's a nice little perk if you want to use the robot all the time as a companion, lol.

Sooo, looking at the romance options. You can romance a lady robot (and when I mean robot, I mean full fledged robot that looks nothing like a human) and there's a ghoul pirate dude you can romance too, lol. Doesn't matter your gender, and you can romance them all.

^Based on appearances alone I'd first go for Piper and then John. I know you can have a harem and it's probably best you do, but if this was a BioWare game and you can only choose one I'd go for Piper.

I'm also a Revolutionary War history geek, so going after a John Hancock ghoulie is pretty cool.

I think Preston is pretty good looking in game, but not too sure if I like his personality yet.

I'm now severely disappointed! Sadly none of the guys are really doing it for me, but that's all right; personality is the only thing that truly matters.

I got one of the trial trophies and am about to get two more! I'm happy guys!

Edit: If you guys plan on doing the trial trophies in one go, I have a suggestion:

TURN OFF WALKING SOFTLY ONCE YOU GET THE TROPHY! IT WILL GET IN THE WAY OF THE TAKE IT SLOW TROPHY! YES, THE CAPS ARE NECESSARY!

Edit 2: ARGH! My game froze as soon as I got to Skyhold! I'd be more angry if I didn't get the three trophies. So far from the trials' trophies I got

Trial of the Emperor, Trial of the Fool, and Trial of the Magician. You wouldn't believe how angry I'd be if I didn't get Trial of the Fool and it froze JUST before I got it.

I still have the other 5 trial trophies to get, but screw getting the difficulty trophies; I know I won't get those, but I'll be damned if I don't get those trial trophies.

Inquistion is surprisingly easy to platinum imo, it's the first one I ever got lol. It can get pretty tedious though, I definitely wouldn't have bothered if I wasn't obsessed with the game for a while.

I really want to get around to the trial trophies! I only have Trial of the Fool so far, so distracted by other games. They should all be pretty quick after finishing Trial of the Lovers, at least.

btw Kirie your Fallout 4 character is beautiful! Can't wait to get the game myself.

The only trials I consider annoying are the

one that make your disapproval with companions double, the one that eliminates supply caches, the one that eliminates getting your health back and it also gets rid of your focus when you set up camp, and the one that heals only one HP when using a potion.

As I said, I'm not a fan of making things difficult and would rather enjoy the game. I raged when I tried getting DAO's difficulty achievements and there's no way I'm going for the difficulty trophies in the ME trilogy.

I've decided that once I get some spare money I'm going to pick up Fallout 3 GotY edition for my Xbox One. I want to try the combat out and the reason why I'm choosing 3 over New Vegas is because I already own New Vegas on Steam and, unless I really like the series, I fail to see the reason behind getting the game again on a different system. I do plan on playing Oblivion and New Vegas once I get a good gaming and writing laptop and I may go back and try Skyrim again at some point. Hopefully that game will be backwards compatible with the Xbox One in the future; my 360 is dying and I need all of the games I bought to be backwards compatible. I now have a co-worker who's going to tell me if I would enjoy Fallout 4. He's already told me that the character development is great, which is a huge plus for me and my boyfriend just got it yesterday; he'll be telling me about it too. I also asked on Twitter to see if anyone will be willing to answer me, but I think my tweet fell on deaf ears.
