That'd be nice! I'd be down for 3 or 5. But since DA:I I've kinda thrown out any hope of the romances being equal in numbers at this point.

They would have been equal if Cullen and Solas weren't added as love interests, but I get your point. We can hope for equal romances, right?

It's funny that the two extra romances ended up being the most popular ones, lol.
Yeah, if I had one wish it would be that all romances get equal content and equal treatment. I don't think it'll happen unfortunately, but I at least hope it's better than the previous ME games were. :/
Citadel DLC helped a bit, but it was still pretty unequal, all things considered.

Once Cullen was announced I knew it would be like Alistair all over again even though at the time I didn't like him (Still don't in DAO or DA2 by the way, but I LOVE him in DAI) and Solas...« Harvest Goddess » people love feels.
Yeah, after DAI it probably will never be equal. Then again, it wasn't equal in ME3 really. If we take both Ashley and Kaidan into consideration, Male!Shep had 9 romances (that's including Kelly and Diana even though I don't count them) while Fem!Shep had 6 (not counting Thane, James or Javik while still including Kelly and Diana)

Edit; I REALLY DIG NICK VALENTINE (why can't I romance him?? *sobs*). And just met Hancock and he's pretty chill/cool. Piper and Preston are alright~

I have little hope for ME romances being equal or even close to equal, but at least with this new game they don't have to try to recover from
The only thing I'll really hope for is that there's no romance that the game repeatedly nudges you toward despite your protests this time around.
I've been playing FO4 for a while, I loooove it. I'm really enjoying how there's more focus on your character as an actual person in the world now, though its get rid of some role playing capabilities I guess. Courtenay's voice is amazing <3
Hancock is definitely my favorite companion, followed closely by Curie who is adorable. I wasn't very impressed by anyone else I came across tbh. I've also been hearing Garrus' voice come out of so many random side characters and it's kind of jarring lol.

I'd like romances to be equal this time around. I think Inquisition almost had a nice set up for romances initially, if it hadn't been for Solas and Cullen (even if I adored both of their romances!)
I just don't want another repeat of the original ME trilogy, where male commander shepard couldn't romance a boy until the last game in the series.
On the subject of the protagonist name
On an unrelated note, in honor of Inquisition's one year anniversary last week, I started a playthrough to finally platinum the game. I normally don't care much about getting all the trophies in a game, but I figured it would be a nice way to celebrate the birthday of one of my favorite games lol. I normally play on casual because I'm more invested in the story, but I jumped right into a Nightmare play through to unlock that trophy. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be! I don't think I got a single game over. I died more times during the trial of the fool achievement for trespasser dlc on casual lol.
It feels good having that platinum trophy sitting there now. I'm almost sad now though. It'll be a long wait until DA4 :') All I have now are forum threads and reddit topics about da4 plot and companion theories. Which are fun to read tbh.

I know right? I wish Nick Valentine was romanceable as well. :[

@Panda - I completely agree. I think as cool as it was, it definitely backed them into a corner for ME3 :/
Grats on the platinum Gil! That's awesome :D It sucks having to wait so many years for the next game in the series, but I guess at least we'll have ME:A to fill the void in the meantime! I'm just hoping they don't delay it..
I think you're right though about the name though.. Ronin did you mean
Nick Valentine is that detective guy, right? He seems pretty cool from what I've seen of D play. He's going for Curie himself I think.. I need to get back into playing it, but I've been trying to finish some of my other games that are much shorter first. Glad to see so many people are enjoying it!

I'm hoping they'll include him in a dlc or something, cause he seems to be rather popular?? And honestly I'm kind of surprise he isn't romanceable. But yeah, hopefully they change that later on cause he's super chill and just nice???
So I met Cait and she's definitely...a prickly thing with quuuiiite a bit of problems, but I rather like her so far? I LIKE HAVING HER AROUND AS A COMPANION SOMETIMES SO I CAN PICKPOCKET/STEAL THE HELL OUT OF PLACES AND SHE APPROVES/DOESN'T CARE. Also can ask for more money and be like "yeahhhh." THAT'S REALLY NICE CAUSE WE COULD ALWAYS USE MORE MONEY.

Ah I haven't met Cait yet, there is still so much I have to do in the game! Right now I am trying to track down all of the halotapes for Nick, gonna try to max all of the companions. Haha you should command Nick to go inspect people (not dead people), his reactions are hilarious. He's so against it!

Whelp, I went back to Mass Effect. It's handling pretty well on the Xbox One. I'm hoping that ME2 and ME3 are Xbox One bound soon; Microsoft says they're having problems making two disc games backwards compatible at the moment.
Better picture of my canon Shepard:
Edit: Question about ME3: When the game came out, did anyone remember Adams? I feel bad because I didn't and had to go back to ME1 just to see who he was. Felt bad I didn't talk to him at all in the game.
Edit 2: I've rescued Liara and completed Noveria. I've done just about every side quest and just have Feros and Virmire left until I'm done.
Edit 3: And I finished the game yet again. Now I wait patiently for Mass Effect 2 and 3 to come to Xbox One backwards compatibility.

Grats on beating it again! How long did it take you? :D I...don't remember Adams off the top of my head. Was he one of the engineers?
Has there been any word on when the backwards compatibility for ME2/3 is coming to X1?
