Next time you can totally pm me to bump it! I keep forgetting to wander in there, whoops. It's only a week past the 10 day rule which is pushing it a bit, but since it's more of a community thread it's fine I think.
But if you want to be in charge of the new thread that's a-okay with me, or I can just merge this into the other topic.

Yeah I don't see a problem with bumping/merging the old thread since it's such an active thread where conversation is continuous.
On topic though..... this is heart breaking. This is the number one game that I am looking forward to right now as Mass Effect is my favorite series so I hope that this doesn't affect production too much. I am glad to hear that things are still on track, or so they say.

I don't mind either. I was just uncertain.

Alright, merged! :D
On current topic though, this news really sucks. :/ I hope it was for personal reasons rather than something at the actual studio.
Hopefully they can get someone internally to take over his spot so they'll be up to speed on everything already.

They've assured that development and the release window won't change, but I hope you're right.
In happier news, I do have 3 additional playthroughs along with the 3 I've already set up for Mass Effect. I've recreated a Shepard my friends and I made in ME2, but it is hard to recreate a Shepard from ME2 to ME1; she looks terrible, but it's as close as I can make her.
Edit: I've never seen this before.

I definitely want to play Mass Effect again since its backwards compatible with Xbox one (not all 3), buuuut all of my games are missing! I put all of my Xbox 360 games in a Nintendo CD case and misplaced it, I just have the empty game cases (that the games originally come in) and it makes me so sad. Might end up buying them all again anyway. I have a huge back log and I have played ME 3 times already but I just love the game so much that I want to play it yet again... although it's nearly impossible to make an attractive female Shepard in ME1 so I may end up using canon next time around... maybe...
Also I still have my hopes up for the new Mass Effect!

I have th opposite problem; for me, it's impossible to make an attractive male Shepard in the ME trilogy. I'm using the default Male!Shep for one of my playthroughs as my second renegade. I've played the trilogy so many times because I love it and have a big backlog as a consequence. Oh well. Story is a big factor when loving a game to me and BioWare's games always keep bringing me back with their story, characters and choices.

Yeah I could never be satisfied with a custom maleshep myself, I use the default everytime. He's so handsome! And I like the way my femsheps look, they all look very alike though lol.
Mourning my PS3 and my Mass Effect trilogy now. ;.; At least I still have 2 and 3 cause I had them before buying the bundle but now I don't have 1 or anything to play it on.

^Can't you buy ME1 on the PSN and it is on Origin.

I personally would LOVE to see a remastered ME trilogy for the new consoles, but it doesn't look likely at all.... still would LOVE it to happen.

I would as well. Too bad EA and BioWare have already said it is not happening due to the companies wanting to look forward and not backwards, which is a good strategy since remasters have been negative with gamers as of late, calling the Xbox One and PS4 remaster consoles.

I'd love it too ;_; Maybe further down the line EA will do it, but I guess their stance makes sense at the moment since it hasn't been too long since the games have released.
What would be nice if they discounted or bundled some of the DLC so it's easier for people to opt in and buy it.

EA is a bit too greedy to do that, but it would be nice. I'm glad that they at least allowed GotY Editions for DAO and DAI. Maybe someday there'll be a Shepard Collection for PS4 and Xbox One like we all want. Maybe it'll be a surprise at E3 this year no one will ever suspect. "Play where it all began. Mass Effect the Shepard Collection comes out November 7th, 2016." Honestly with the director leaving ME:A I wouldn't be surprised if that happened to keep us fans occupied, but the forums over at BioWare wouldn't be happy if true.

Apparently Bioware points recently went on sale for the first time ever, so I guess nothing is impossible at this point, lol. But yeah, if there's going to be another delay who knows what is going to happen. I don't think Bioware has any other releases this year besides ME:A, do they?

Not unless they have something they're holding back until E3.
Edit: Mass Effect Andromeda stuff! Albeit it is just Cameron Lee talking about the first hour, but it's better than nothing! Article
here! Also, some fun DAI stuff
here. Kirie, I'm happy with this.
