is the Tunnel Request 1 of the 3 options?

like is it a completely different type of construction request? or would Eileen ask me which of the three things i want and one of the options be the tunnel expansion? if it's a solo request would it take the place of all other construction requests? could I reload and get the normal construction request?
because
I'm in a bit of a bind here, see I saved my game and the next day was a blizzard and while forging I found two or stones ( which I think I'll need soon Cuz I'm getting married and wanna have my child a.s.a.p) but I played on top the next day v without saying and attended a cooking contest and made the mayors friendship level fill into the 6th heart which I'm pretty sure triggers the tunnel request to Happen the next month, but I don't think I want the tunnel request, I think I want to keep clear for other requests from Eileen, like the big bed. so what I'm wondering I'd if I made the mayors friendship reach 6 hearts does that GARENTEE that Eileen will all if I wanna do that or will that just be another one of the options? and if it is can I save the night before the new season and try again if I don't like her construction options?

so yeah I don't know if it's safe to save, because I want the two gem ores because I need em, but if going to that cooking contest is gonna prevent me from other construction requests then I guess maybe I should reload, try during for ores again and avoid the contest.

I am not 100% sure but in my experience, Eileen gave Bed requests precedence over the tunnel upgrades. I am not sure whether tunnel requests had priority over regular expansions, but I think they did. I know for sure I was super mad when Eileen kept giving me bed requests instead of the tunnel expansion, tho, because I didn't care about marriage, I wanted that dang tunnel fixed so I would stop having to run up and down the mountain all the time.

Yep, that's how it works~ Bed requests will take priority over tunnel expansion requests, and tunnel expansion requests will take priority over normal farm construction requests. ^^
