Has anyone ever actually met a panda in the mountains? I'm already in year three, and I've never seen one in all the many, many times I've traveled across the mountain.

Pandas only appear at night after 9pm.

Which... rarely happens, just to warn you.

I lived in Konohana, so after my nights of fishing, when I was heading back, I'd enter the area where they lived... I'd ride the slider down, no panda. Leave the area come back, check again. Unusually after 10 tries or so, the panda would appear. Make sure you have some food it likes handy, just to make the effort worth it :) It's cute.

Wow, you weren't kidding! I can see why I never found one! But, after about 5-10 tries, depending on the circumstances, I can find one, now. Thanks for letting me know it's a rare event! (And to be sure on bringing food, too. Now that I'm at max friendship with the Harvest Goddess, I had no other use for strawberries. At least now, the panda can enjoy them! :P)
