Ushi No Tane Forum

I don't want to admit it, but I am getting close to being finished with ToTT. My child will be grown in two seasons, and I've expanded everything but the Bluebell bee hives (and I have tons of honey of all kinds in my storage from quests) and I am running out of new goals.

I really loved this game (my first HM game) and I'm keen to try some of the others. I only have a 2 DS and am not likely to get a 3DS anytime soon (my $$ will be going to a new laptop first) so I am looking for recommendations on which 2DS HM game to try next.

What are your favorites and why?

Ds cute is a good choice, I enjoyed it a lot. Getting 60 sprites is difficult, but in a way that makes it more fun! Cute has way less glitches than the boy version.

Harvest moon DS is a good one. It's probably one of my favorites. I love the sprites and how there was so much room to grow crops and raise animals and customizing your farm was great! Although there were tons of glitches that made it hard to play but there is a money glitch to max out your money. But you have to be a guy. In DS cute, same thing expect a few added features and the glitches are fixed.

Woot, I have that on my list and was planning on getting DS Cute so I could play my own gender (not that I am against playing a male character, but I like the option to play as a girl because so many video games are male-centric) so I'm glad to see it's a good choice!

I think I will really miss ToTT when it's finally all done. I have logged so many hours playing this game, it's a little shocking.

^ Lol I know what you mean. I'm working on all the Konohana upgrades, then moving to Bluebell, getting all those upgrades, get married and have a child yada yada yada. I've never done this much either.

But anyway I love DS Cute. I think collecting the Harvest Sprites are a fun aspect, but it can get tedious at times. It definitely gives you something to focus on though.

I am also interested in the Island games, and I like the look of Sunshine over Happiness-- I've read they are very similar. Can anyone comment on which of the two I should pick up?
