They might was well just target the game towards the adults that demanded « lame turnip » relationship be added.
*nods and cries* Even though I'm ecstatic they changed their minds, this is a bittersweet victory. Poor Nintendo is already in the hole because of the WiiU... (seriously, why didn't they release it with SSB4, it just didn't make sense, I don't- Nintendo- ok) They've basically got to hope and pray that the next few big titles do amazingly well (SSB4, Mario Kart 8 for WiiU, Pokemon Alpha/Omega... maybe Bayonetta 2? If they're really lucky? The roster leaves a bit to be desired. There's MegaMan Battle Network for WiiU? If I were an exec, I'd be hoping that SSB4 would spike sales of the WiiU and therefore old games on the platform.)
How much I wish people didn't care...

Is there a limit to how many Miis can you play with in this game? Do you have any control over who marries who?

No to this question, and you are allowed 100 island Miis.

Dang that's a lot. I have to make every one of those or do random NPC's ever appear? Do certain things not unlock on the island until you have a certain number of mii's?

I recall having a hard time keeping up with 10+ characters in AC:NL, how the heck are you supposed to entertain 100 mii's?

I think you're gonna have to make all of them yourself, or scan QR codes of Miis you'd like.

I'm only going to have 56 Miis, when I'm done having all of them move in. Then I'll wait and see what unfolds from there.

It would be weird if Billy (a friend) and me ended up dating or even married in my game. I've somehow gotten this weird theory that people have been shipping us both for a while.
But I'm waiting if Josh and Brooke end up dating and married, ditto with Emile and Masae.

Does something special happen at 56?

I figured I'd start off like a RF game and have myself and 10 girls, then just wait and see which one hooks up with my mii. Just kind of make a little mini-game of it. Then after I get my mii hitched I can add a lot more male and female characters. I always hated it in RF that most of the characters end up alone, so at least now I can even things out after the initial hook up.

Still curious as to how someone manages 100 miis. Is there some way to know which miis are doing something so you're not just watching boring miis when something exciting might be happening somewhere else?

No, that's the number of Miis I plan to have in my game.
Any other Mii that comes after the last one moves in are going to be children of Miis.

I dunno what my apartment block will look like, but it's 8 Miis per floor, and they're all going to take up the first 7 floors completely.
By the time you have the final apartment block upgrade, it'll be 8 Miis per floor minus the top floor, which will only have 4 apartments.

By doing some calculations, the block will have 13 floors, with 12 of them having 8 apartments each. The 13th floor will have 4, like I just said.

It's proof I have no life whatsoever.

What I've learned is you keep an eye on the main apartment block, and if some of your Miis have gotten married, keep an eye on the married couple area (this unlocks after the first Mii couple gets married).
If the screen says "*Mii's name* is at their part-time job" when you tap on their apartment window, you can actually go there and stuff. Same with other locations, such as the park, the fountain, the beach etc.

I've learned a lot from watching LinandKo. I plan on marathoning their Tomodachi Collection: New Life videos in about 2 weeks.

Again, proof I have no life whatsoever.

I ought to compile a list of differences between NA/EU Tomodachi Life and JPN Tomodachi Collection: New Life. I've found a fair few, but I need to properly learn one of them.

That isn't what he was saying at all????

It isn't "as easy as that". I don't understand people why say this as it isn't even comparable? Saying "Just crossdress it'll be the same as being « lame turnip »" It's so incredibly insulting I can't even wrap my head around it. Please consider people's feelings before making hurtful statements. Just because you don't care, doesn't mean that it isn't important to others.

What if I want to watch some hot boi on boi action with yaoi hands and sexy abs everywhere? Wow please consider my feelings, fishy. :'/

Edit: Ooop sorry I missed Kirie's post.
But that's very nice of Nintendo to apologize. It's good that they're listening to what the public wants~
OMG I AM SO SORRY GUYS I DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT PEOPLES FEELINGS...;W; I CAN BE REALLY INSENSITIVE SOMETIMES...I AM SOOOO SORRY!!!!!!!!! ;W; ;W; ;W; ;W; please forgive me...

LOL. I might have to agree with the 'no life' statement, but that is some nice calculations you did. I'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks.

I have no idea what marathoning the videos means, guessing it means burning through them as fast as you can, but I finished those in about a week or so...? Not too sure. But around there. I have less of a life than you... :( I learned a lot from them too!

For me, it's watching all of them in a short time period.

I did that with chuggaaconroy's Sonic Colors. 3 hours well spent. =3

You're welcome.

And « Harvest Goddess », I can go on and on and on and...you get the idea, when I talk about a subject I know a ton about.
Why am I not applying that to real life?

Maybe because you know nothing about real life! LOL. Welcome to the club.

Before I buy this game I just have to know just how interactive it is long term. Can it draw you in or does it become a chore to turn it on and check the mii's, like feeding your fish which when you first got you couldn't stop watching them swim around ... then you finally realize that's all they do, and now you just feed them to keep them from dying.

I know there are goals at the beginning, building up the island, adding features, hooking up couples, etc., but just seems after a time the random daily stuff after that would get old. So I wonder if anyone knows how long it actually takes to full up the town and finish the initial goals? Also how if mii life after that?

This. From what I saw on LinandKo, this is sorta what happens. for some people it's a fun game that draws you in, and for others, you should just play for 15 minutes a day.

Says "Full site coming soon". Well dang. Game comes out in a few weeks. Wish they'd get moving on that.

Anyone have a link to the Japanese site?
