I doubt Marvelous would back another game that is similar to their Bokumon series. It sounds more like Natsume trying to make money off of a name they currently own.Osuchin wrote:I know they are developing it.

Ugh, looks like my idle speculation might actually come true.If it's another game for the 3DS, things could get bad for XSEED. Natsume could be publishing a new farming game and capitalizing on the Harvest Moon name that they built up to gain sales for what would otherwise be considered the start of a new franchise. I mean, if a casual consumer saw a game called Story of Seasons and then a game called Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley right next to it, then they would almost certainly be confused and think that lost Lost Valley is the next Bokujo Monogatari game.

(It's not even the 12th handheld game, since HM DS Cute was lumped into the HM DS forum. I guess Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi would technically be #13 and Lost Valley would be #14 *if* it is a full-feature game.)
My guess is that a new sub directory of forums for Story of Seasons (series) would be the best option.

It is not backed by Marvelous. This is the first Harvest Moon game Natsume internally develops with their Japanese branch developer. Guess we have a competition of farming games now...Osuchin wrote:I know they are developing it.
