I guess the biggest point they are trying to sell the game on (full 3D experience) isn't actually that important.

Sorry, I'm confined to my tablet for the time being, this is the best screen I can take.

I can't see 3D at all, so finding out that it is optional is sort of a mixed blessing, because if the game is designed for 3D, there is still a good chance my lack of depth perception will keep me from being able to play it anyway. If it isn't designed for 3D and that is how they are marketing it, it is disappointing in another way.
Remember that when saying 3D they don't necessarily mean stereoscopic 3D.

It's good to know the 3D mode won't required. Because I use a 2DS.

When I said "I can't see 3D", I wasn't talking about just stereoscopic 3D. I have run into glass doors, put my hand through glasses of milk, and do not drive due to my lack of being able to see depth. At all.

Optometrists love me.

Oh, that's what I meant by stereoscopic 3D. It is meant to generate the effect of realistic depth by creating a separate image for each eye, the 3DS uses this method.

Normal polygonal 3D, even though is called 3D, is actually displayed in 2D most of the time. With exceptions being in video game consoles that support some sort of 3D display, like the 3DS with the 3D turned on.

Unless you have had problems before playing 3D video games displayed in 2D, you should have no trouble with this :)

I have a 3DS but the 3D hurts my eyes when it's set too high. I usually shut it off just to save some of my charge.

"No"

It's a start.
it is a start, and while not exactly what i wanted, if they clear things up once and for all at E3 i'll be appeased. either way, i am curious about the game, so as much as i may disagree with their marketing they've successfully got my attention.

Let's just say there is a reason I pretty much ONLY play turn-based jRPGs and niche games. ;)

Anyone else see this?

The plushes are said to be based on designs from TLV. Personally, I think they're really cute and would be happy if the in-game animals looked similar.

The dog looks pretty cute!

I love that chick-egg one though. If it becomes the preorder bonus, I guess it would be an insta-preorder :P

Well technically even if Marvelous had a trademark on the characters, "Harvest Goddess" and "Harvest Sprite" aren't on them.
As technically they have different names in JP.
Admittedly they aren't terribly different at least in meaning.
But I think we can expect a change in appearance for them from their traditional look.

They're all adorable! The chick's expression and the dog's stubby legs are so cute. But the chicken...that expression looks familiar. Hmm...
