How long does it take to raise a pet's affection?

I am almost to fall, got one cat, one small dog, and one big dog near the beginning of summer. They are each at 1 heart and I really wanna get them to 2 hearts fast so they herd two animals each. I play with them with the bell and bone everyday, feed them, pick them up, and check on them with the thing Ash gave me (the medical tool thingy). How long does it take for the pets to go up in friendship? My cows are already at 7 hearts, sheep at 4 and chickens at 3.

Yes, I know the numbers. I'm asking about how long does it take the averge player to get 2 hearts with their pets?

200 / 5 = 40 days
Wow that was so difficult. If you actually read the page though, you'd know 2 hearts don't equal heading two pets.

Actually, it doesn't have to take in game seasons to raise affection. I just found this out a few days ago online.
A quick way to raise a pet's affection is to play with it. You can play with it as many times as you want everyday and keep earning fps. It's a pretty cool trick and now I have more time in the game to do other things instead of care for my animals.

Just picking them up and playing with them is easier to raise but for me, it took me 3 years (in the game)until all my pets got the maximum number of hearts. The first pet that had full hearts took me like a year and a half (in the game).

You can get hearts quicker with your pet if you...
1. Take them into the plaza (need a leash)
2. Put them in a corner
3. Throw their toy
4. Spam A for 5 or more in game hours
5. Pets will have 1.5 to 2 hearts depending on hours
Took me four days to get my dog at max hearts.

Um, I think you might be getting mixed up with ANB? I don't remember there being a leash in TOTT...

I also haven't think of it for leashes to be there anyways I'll raise mine slowly cause last time on HM DS I played it for like few days and I already got bored so play slowly-enjoy much for me
