Sword seed dropped from Ambrosia, what should I do with it?

I was pretty surprised to score a sword seed so early in the game, but now I am not so sure if I should plant it, harvest the sword, level it up, or ship it.... I like the potential to get a good weapon early on, but if I ship it can I buy more from any of the shops or do I have to wait for the quests? If I have to wait for the quest I might as well just harvest it...

I just battled her a second time and scored a Shield seed.... Um. Are Sword and Shield seeds even part of her regular drops? I am having a difficult time thinking I am just this lucky...

Have you gotten the dungeon seed? That would cause them to drop the sword + shield seeds often... As for selling or planting.. I can't remember if selling the seed causes her to stock it but I would assume it doesn't with most seeds having to be unlocked, best thing to do imo is to save your game and sell it and see if she stocks it then ;p

This is a brand new file. Literally just beat Ambrosia the first time and got a Sword seed... and got a Shield seed tje next day. I am a looooong way off from the dungeon seed.

I decided to plant it... but I am playing a few more days to see if Ambrosia keeps dropping them... and also if other bosses will. I am thinking this is some sort of glitch. If that turns out to be the case I am going to restart my file...I dislike unfair advantages.

I am also concerned that I won't be able to get regular boss drops too.

Battled her a third time... got another shield seed and her boss drop. I am not sure what is going on here but I have a feeling this shouldn't be happening

Went to my other file using a soft reset and battled several bosses, using the escape trick so they could respawn. Each and every one dropped a sword or shield seed. I am kind of speechless.

Looks like after a proper reset I am going to restart my new file... I don't like glitches. Super weird though. I wonder how I triggered it. Soft resets probably.

It's not a glitch, all bosses have a chance to drop sword and shield seeds even before dungeon seeds become available.

But every single time? In my finished game I battled bosses over 20 times and got one each time. I thought they were more rare? Right now it is 100% drop rate.

I get them so often I've started to miss their real drops, and I've been getting them since I killed the 2nd (horse) boss, so it started quite early for me as well, definitely before my dungeon flower ever bloomed. Obsidian Manor drops them the least and Ambrosia seems to drop them the most (or it just feels that way because I farm her so frequently? dunno)

What a very lucky man getting a sword seed from the ambrosia but if its 100% dropped is it some kind of bug?

Have you guys started a New game+? One of you said you had a completed file, and stuff like that being unlocked in your first file could carry over.
