Three sizes of horse on Harvest Moon. We all know that right? And nothing wrong with it. But... the sizes are listed as Pony, Thoroughbred, and Shetland. Shetland??? You gotta be kidding me. There is a Shetland in the paddock next door to us. They are ponies!
My best guess about this is they must have got Shetlands mixed up with Shires, as the Shire horse is the biggest horse breed in the world, and definitely a heavy horse, unlike the Shetland, which could only be classed as a pony.

What do you think? Is it a mix up, or did they just make something up?

I never noticed that! Maybe it was translation or something, I'm not really sure.

I just noticed Shetland ponies are quite small unlike in the game :o
here from wikipedia
The Shetland pony is a breed of pony originating in the Shetland Isles. Shetlands range in size from a minimum height of approximately 28 inches (71 cm) to an official maximum height of 11 hands high (107 cm) at the withers (11.2 hands for American Shetlands). Shetland ponies have heavy coats, short legs and are considered quite intelligent. They are a very strong breed of pony, used for riding, driving, and pack purposes.

Exactly. That's my point. If there's a Shetland in the game - it should be the pony, not the heavy horse!
