raising money real time

Which town can I raise money in quicker, real time, bluebell or kono,

I've been debating moving to kono cuz everyone says plants can earn you good money. But if I have to water all my plants everyday that seems like forever real-time. Raisiny an animals productivity seems faster, but then again I guess I don't need bluebell for that since I'm not trying to buy a billion animals and raise all of they're productivity to 5 to pointlessly track in 17 mill a month, I just wanna raise the 1 mill fast and I'm at 300,000.. But if I'm not gonna have the seed maker to be able to save high ranked crops I'd grow in kono, then it's like what's the point? Plus I'm going into year spring year 2 so I don't have strawberry or pineapple seeds unlocked...
Ugh I spend too much time planning how to play my game..

Not going to tell you what to do...but if you are currently playing in Bluebell, I personally would stay there until I had maxed out that farm. I've read other posts in here about money making and there really isn't any fast way to make money until you progress in the game a bit. Finish the tunnel, you get the mines. Finish upgrading the Bluebell farm, you get the maker shed and same for Konohana. Going fishing, foraging and cooking are the only ways early in the game to make money. In Bluebell the biggest money maker is the Alpaca and Jersey Cow. Good Luck!

Konohana is better for making money.

If you're worried about the time it takes to water things, use trenches. Then the watering is instantaneous.

The trick to pineapples is actually to toss the pineapples in the seed maker, and sell their seeds. In fact, most crops have seeds that sell for more than the actual crop. That's why you'll usually see most advising to unlock the seed maker as fast as you can, and to start in Konohana. However, the good news is that you can still use Konohana's seed maker even while living in Bluebell. So, it wouldn't hurt to move to Konohana, work on upgrading it a little until you have the largest fields and seed maker, and then moving back to Bluebell (since most like Cam and Ash more as bachelors and the larger barn space).

I honestly can't remember what crops sell for the most money :X But there are several chats people have made running around in the archived topics. I remember yams (and most every other regrowable crop) and blue roses being very profitable.

This is an awesome topic with awesome numbers: http://www.fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=148193

Blue roses are NOT profitable! I learned that the hard way! You can only take the profit twice a season. It may look good in numbers, but it made only a small dent on your money making! Bok Choys are seriously better. But if you don't have the seedmaker, yes, sadly, blue roses are better.

If you're only aiming one million and a year-two, you should do well enough with cucumber and corns and yams and blue roses. There's no need to move farms even. Just use the small farm there on Konohana(you can use it even if you never live in Konohana) , and maybe a bit of the small farm in Bluebell. If you don't have the tunnel it's gonna be annoying though. Even if you only water it once it'll only slow your one-million a little bit. The money's still pouring well. Still tend to your animals. You'll get a million soon enough.

Actually, you should look again ^^"

Blue roses, at only half a star and two harvests a season bring in... 4,000 gold per flower.
Bok Choy can harvest 11 times a season, but still only brings in 1,830g per crop. Not even half.
0.5 star Yams bring in 1,290g a season per crop.
0.5 star Eggplants bring in 2,090g a season per crop.

Bok Choy and Yams only become more profitable when you turn them into seeds... which... er, you need the seed maker for that. Which means you need to... move to Konohana. But, seriously, if you don't have the seed maker, 4,000 gold a crop is pretty good for Blue roses! You should look at the links in my post :) They'd help you a lot.

I've lived in Konohana my whole life during my gameplay so far, and I'm in Spring of my fourth year. I have around 1.4 million G right now, I think.
I'm not entirely sure which town is better, as depending on what crops or animals you have and how you use them either could work better, but if you want to make the absolute most out of your production, I would complete all the expansions on both the Konohana and Bluebell farms, and then make your final residence Bluebell. The reason for this is that if you live in Bluebell, you can still access and use all the fields you left in Konohana (which is really helpful, since Bluebell has only one spot large enough to grow trees, which you'll need to make coffee and chocolate), while if you live in Konohana, you no longer have access to your sheds in Bluebell and are only able to hold 6 animals (2 of which must be chickens).
Also, while Konohana festivals may seem to have better rewards (i.e. Agate vs. Great Fruit Yogurt), you have to remember that that Agate will be gone the moment you sell it, while if you did win that Great Fruit Yogurt, the animal you won it with now has the chance to produce even more expensive products. Five star alpaca wool is a great money maker, especially if you feed it treats to increase the number of furs you get a day.

Long story short, max everything out, and live in Bluebell for the most productive gameplay. If you want some other tricks to earning money, I like to spend my nights fishing. Technically, you can do this whenever, but there's not much to do at night anyway. Grab your fishing/super rod and just find which spot is best for the season you're in (usually, some spots will be wonderful, while some spots will be just horrible, with nothing but Gobies and the accursed Black Bass). During the fall, catch dragonflies, as these are the only actually profitable bugs. And if you wanna outsmart the shopkeepers, buy lots of rice from Raul, and then mass produce rice porridge (Rice + Pot = Cooked Rice + Pot = Rice Porridge). It doesn't cost any extra ingredients to make and sells for more than the rice that you bought!
For the crops, it seems that enough people have given good advice, so I won't delve into that part. :lala:

Bluebell, it may seem expensive at first but if you get loads of animals and raise their FP then you can get at least 1000g per day!
