Every once in a while I like to dress my character in one of the Ninja Garbs and ninja into random rooms, give very rare, nice, or difficult items/decorations, and ninja out as fast as possible. The goal being to visit as many rooms as possible in as short period of time. I was wondering if people wanted to join me in putting on their various Ninja Garbs on a specific day and go to town on random multiplayer and see how much bewilderment we can cause.

For this to work there are two types of roles people need to fill:
- The Ninjas: The people far advanced in the game that have some nice stuff and most importantly of all a Ninja Garb. The ninjas will serve as the givers and will be giving out the loot. For the ninjas who don't want to part with the items there are ways of not saving so you can keep the items that you are giving out. I personally recommend to the ninjas that they do all of this on a spare save and when it is all said and done go back to their other save and act as if nothing ever happened (After all plausible deniability is important to ninjas).

- The Civilians: Anyone can do this. All you need to do is be participating in random multiplayer (and not wearing a Ninja Garb) while the ninjas are ninjaing. The civilians will serve as the receivers of the random loot.

So who would be interested in participating in this, and if so is there any kind of time frame or particular day that works well for most people? I personally was thinking of picking a Saturday afternoon America time that way it would be evening for EU players.

But to give an idea of the types of things that I have given out while wearing my White Ninja Garb when I have done these things solo:
- Mango & Banana Saplings
- Sturgeon
- Angler's Dream
- Maiden with Spear & Maiden with Shield
- Hammock
- Anchor & Bridge
- Plazas
- Purple Arch & Pink Arch
But even if ninjas are giving out only Yam Seeds and Silkie Eggs that would help.

That sounds great, but I don't think it's possible to trade Angler's Dream on MP.

I remember that I tried once, then I wouldn't have to gather all those urchins, I do remember getting great fish food once and I couldn't even tell who it was, because my inventory was full and it didn't show.

So I would suggest great and ultimate fish food (though great is supposed to be better) as rare gifts I would personally love. (don't think I can join right now but you know, just throwing it out there)

That is right I forgot that you cannot trade 'medicine'. It was a long time ago when I last tried to trade Angler's Dream, totally forgot that I failed.

I have 5 star seeds of almost every crop/flower/grain.

I have the red and blue ninja outfit, I think. I haven't played the game in awhile.

When will this event be?

Not 100% sure when this event would be. Wanted to get people interested in it and time to get the appropriate attire. I was thinking doing it June 21st and possibly start it at 18:00 GMT (or 2:00 PM for those in EDT [Eastern Daylight Time] like me). But it all depends on peoples availability, I want to time it to maximize involvement.

I would participate as a ninja I don't have any rare things, but I do have lots of 1-star Yam seeds and 2-4 star silkie eggs, hopefully someone will find those helpful!

I'd unfortunately not be available at the time you have it planned. I'd probably be available late EST (9PM and later) for the weekdays. Weekends are free, though.

Ooh, that sounds like a nice idea. I'm quite far along in my file and I have almost every 5 star crop plus lots of high level giant crops in my fridge. I also have things you can't get early on like mango and banana.
I'll check this thread later to see if it goes anywhere and if I can participate. I'm on PST, btw.

I get off work at 5:00PM EDT on Sunday so I'm free after that.

I'm currently on summer break, so I can do this whenever. But first I guess it would help if I got myself a Ninja Garb..... Heheh

I just started ANB (after finally wearing out on Pokemon X).

The wifi room reminds me of Wonder Trade. And this idea of organizing a Solstice Day ninja gifting event is wonderful!

I wish I had ninja garb or anything of value to contribute, but hopefully I will catch a glimpse of ninjas on June 21st (or 22nd?).

Deledrion, it would make my day to receive a silkie egg or yam seeds from you. At this early stage in the game, I'm happy just milking others' cows. But maybe in a week I'll have something better than honey bees or turnips to offer as gifts.

So what I am thinking is that on Saturday 21st I will spend as much of the day as possible on http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=ANB_Trades&uio=d4, from there I will give out anything that I can to people have who have ninja garbs but do not feel like their items are the best (that way they have some nice stuff to give out) or materials to get the appropriate attire. But it does not take much as Mr Nojo pointed out. Even Silkie Eggs and Yam Seeds regardless of the star rank is great.

Then on Sunday 22nd starting at 5:00 PM EDT (21:00 GMT) for at least an hour we start hitting up random rooms. If we have too many ninjas we can have some start earlier/later than that to help spread it out. So if you are not able to be on for the start of it or cant for the entire thing shift it to however you want to do it. Starting around 4:00 EDT I will be on http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=ANB_Trades&uio=d4 for those who want to coordinate it, and I will be on there even after the event is over just in case we have some late ninjas that want to go out (I will help them out if this happens).

Also ninjas if possible keep track of how much of what you give out and message me it after it is all done. I would love to build a final report of how much stuff was given out.

So at the very least to the civilians this Sunday if you see a white haired player running around in white ninja garbs darting in and out of rooms odds are it will be me, or not after all I cannot confirm nor deny that any of what is going to happen actually will (or has) happen.
