Wait...what?

Okay, so I entered Spaghetti Soup into the Main Dish cooking competition. My team (Bluebell) was made of Cam, Diego, and myself. Upon seeing Diego, who I haven't befriended, I knew this wasn't likely to end well.

So here comes the judging! Bluebell gets one  one :lala: and a "..."

I'm absolutely positive we've lost.

Konohana gets two  and a :lala:

Yep, I've lost.

So then I wait grudgingly as Peirre takes 30 seconds to do something he could have done in 5. And then...Bluebell wins? What? Was my dish so great that it beat out the opposing team's overall higher score or something? O_o

The little symbols Pierre makes are like grades you get in school. Two people can get the same grade, but that doesn't mean they got the same amount of points. For example two people could have gotten A grades but one of them could have gotten a 'high' A with 100 and one could have just barely made it with a 'low' 90 A. Since there are only a few reactions Pierre has the gaps between 'lows' and 'highs' can really make a difference.

So the other team probably got 'low' Hearts and a 'low' Music Note, while your reactions were 'highs' meaning you had more points overall even though you had worse grades.

But the short answer is that, yes, it was most likely your Heart dish that made up for the fact that you got worse reactions overall.

Sometimes, this happens to me as well. (I hope this doesn't violate the 10 day rule)
