really? cool, depending on what the game records I can figure out what I can let the game handle and what I might want to record myself, the story plots I dont care much for since I hear it can be beaten in 10hours, it's more of the progress of leveling I'm interested in noting down

an hour and 45min left... I could have gone when my mom was out at lunch, but if I wait and go with my grandmother she might also get me a nintendo card....

I also just realised something... I dont have a name picked out o___o oh no... I need to think of one and fast... I'm horrible when it comes to names... I usually leave them the default but it might not have a default... need to hunt down one on a name site asap

also, how do you get the pics off? I think I heard something about posting to social media but I deactivated my facebook years ago and dont plan to touch it again, ever... are the pics stored on the camera? taking the SD card out seems to be the easiest way in my opinion

sadly it doesn't show the date. yes, I take the screenshot (which you have to unlock) then I take the SD card out, put it in my laptop and I use tinypic.com to upload them (after you upload them there you can copy the picture url which I then use to post it here)

wow that's so few, but I tend to chose shorter names anyway, my default if I can't find any will probably be Kitsu, Shini, or something like that, but I might look up some flowers and see if I can get any name ideas, I'm super picky about names...

Okay I'm convinced. I've been convinced, anyway, I picked up a copy today >3< I haven't got a chance to sit down with it yet but I'm about to now and I'm really excited!! I don't know what to expect really because, even though I've been keeping an eye on it since it's announcement in japan, I'm kept myself away from spoilers for the most part. Soo excited to explore the game!! And to make my character. :D Everyone should put up pics of their characters if they can, I'd love to see them!

I can't take a screenshot right now, I almost ran out of batteries just getting through the customization screen... Yikes! I spent more than an hour hahah. >3<; Mannnn I'm really excited for this game I can't wait to actually play it pff. I'm so picky with customizing characters.

I started playing last night and I love it! It's so cute. Started off as a hunter and leveled up to Apprentice, and now I'm working on my life as a cook! :D

I finally got a guy that I like. (Chestnut, hedgehog hair with moonlight colored 8-bit eyes). I'm an apprentice fisherman now. I tried starting up the wizard, but I wanted to go back to being a fisherman. Maybe I'll try and max it out before switching my jobs around. Fishing is so much fun.

*sigh* here comes the sleeping issues... hey what does it take to be considered an insomniac? eh I probably dont meet them, but seriously, sleep issues are a pain... almost two hours ago I was sooooo tired, I spend an hour in bed trying to sleep and then suddenly I`m no longer tired... got some tea, my cat caught a mouse, now I`m sitting at my laptop typing stuff up before I go back to playing FL...

almost 1am here, not very tired anymore... lets see how long it is before I get some sleep, omg I wanna move in with my grandmother already =x= just sleeping on her couch is easier than sleeping in my bed... it's either the temperature, the hum of the freezer, the blankets, the lack of voices/outside sounds, the feel of the place, or maybe just the fact I`m not sleeping on this mattress that makes her place better

ok I`m done my rant.... off to play some more FL... oh, I`ve also got the licence for every class, even if you dont use them you get some stat boosts, 500D, and 50exp for each one you start, the wizard might also be handy even if you dont plan on using it, with the healing spell the only thing you'd need is SP potions, the wizard class can handle the HP, but that's not a good method in the middle of combat...

a few things: Shini, about the stat boost you get from every license, they are not permanent, only while you play in that life.
Elena looks really cute, I'll upload a pic of my character in the spoilers below. maybe some others want to share their character as well

My plan for leveling every Life up to Apprentice is going really smoothly. I have avoided fighting too much, except for a lot of Hainwa Cave runs for Blacksmith. I did Woodcutter, Miner, and Angler yesterday, and they are all Apprentice. I plan on doing as many crafting Lives as I can today... also I might spend some time turning in passwords now that my bag is Max Size. :3

My daughter started as an Angler and she LOVES slashing everything with her Dagger, she even leveled Dagger skill higher than me because of her gleeful killing of just everything. We did a little Angler local co op last night, which was pretty amazing as you get credit for catching each other's fish. The only one she didn't get credit for was the Lord of the Forest bounty.

Overall we are just having a blast with this game, to the point where we need that "take a 5 minute break every hour" warning. It really is living up to my expectations. So happy!

Shini, I have a lot of problems with sleep too. Drinking chamomile tea, taking 3g of melatonin, and listening to a noise machine (I tend to just put rainymood.com on my tablet), that knocks me out. As well, I don't eat or use electronic devices an hour before bed . There is a lot of good advice out there to help with sleep, but if it seriously impacts your daily life and health, please go see a doctor.

Ok been playing. I also added the DLC right off the bat, though I had to update my 3DS first before it would take.

Right now I'm a miner. Will do that till level ten then switch to some other gathering class to level 10. When all the gathering classes are done do the same to the crafting classes, and then switch to Hunter as my final class (though I'll update the others as needed).

I am wondering though, would fishing and cooking be much of a support for a Hunter? I may skip those also.

I do have a question concerning bounties. If I have a bounty, can I use any quick travel to get back to town or does that lose the bounty? Can I use a horse with a bounty? Can I have a soldier send me home and keep the bounty? I've been afraid to do anything other than run all the way home every time I get a bounty.

Note it took me four restarts and about two hours to final get my character looking the way I want. Haven't taken pictures yet, but I need get something to let my PC read a SD card first (I may pick that up today) then I'll try to upload some.
