Right now I'm a miner. Will do that till level ten then switch to some other gathering class to level 10. When all the gathering classes are done do the same to the crafting classes, and then switch to Hunter as my final class (though I'll update the others as needed).
I am wondering though, would fishing and cooking be much of a support for a Hunter? I may skip those also.
I do have a question concerning bounties. If I have a bounty, can I use any quick travel to get back to town or does that lose the bounty? Can I use a horse with a bounty? Can I have a soldier send me home and keep the bounty? I've been afraid to do anything other than run all the way home every time I get a bounty.
Note it took me four restarts and about two hours to final get my character looking the way I want. Haven't taken pictures yet, but I need get something to let my PC read a SD card first (I may pick that up today) then I'll try to upload some.
well, so far I've always played as hunter as my main life and haven't real put much time and effort in the fishing and cooking lifes.
as for bounties: you can not do quick travel sadly, but a soldier can send you home and you will keep the bounty. you can also ride a horse with a bounty. the bounty itself will disappear while you are riding the horse, but reappear once you get off. but be careful that no monsters attack you while you are riding the horse with the bounty

Drinking chamomile tea, taking 3g of melatonin, and listening to a noise machine (I tend to just put rainymood.com on my tablet), that knocks me out. As well, I don't eat or use electronic devices an hour before bed . There is a lot of good advice out there to help with sleep, but if it seriously impacts your daily life and health, please go see a doctor.
I play a lot of video games and I know to take into account the hour it takes after playing, but sometimes I cant get to sleep even 2 or 3 hours after, I used to take some melatonin but stopped cuz I dont have school anymore, I'm going to try taking them again but we need to get some more, I`ll try the chamomile tea as well as finding a white noise sound that works, I once tried music and nature sounds but they're very distracting
do you think a light buzzing/weird sound that I hear also be part of it? idk if silence is supposed to be pure silent but there's a white noise like sound whenever it's quiet... sometimes it can get pretty loud on me and annoy me
I'll level each gathering class up to apprentice and finish all fledgling quests, then move on to the next gathering class, then crafting classes the same, then Hunter. Though I still may skip fishing and cooking. I'll keep doing this before I start the next Bliss quest, which is to go to the new location. Kind of putting the MQ on hold there until I get all my classes leveled where I want them.
I have completed this for miner and now and trying to finish woodcutter. I have woodcutter to apprentice, but my only problem is finding elder wood to finish the last two fledgling quests. I've cut some down, but all I ever get is a grand oak wood bounty. Turning in the bounty often gives me Elder Wood, but that doesn't count apparently. This is a lot harder than getting the Topaz quests for the miner. Any tricks to this?
Also Pam showed me the new houses and I checked out the one in the South. I want it, but every time I talk to Pam about it she just says that I need to empty my existing house first. So I got to the attic and for some reason I can't figure out the option to move/store items. I've pressed about every button I can think of. Help?

Thanks.
click on "my room" ->"rearrange" ->"remove" -> "all"
as for the elder logs, they really are hard to get sometimes. but not only elder trees drop them, the normal ones drop them, but that's very rare. sometimes I get all 3 elder logs in one go, sometimes I have to try for ages
Ahhhh Ophelia your character is super cute, I love the purple hair! >3<
Thanks for sharing, I love looking at everyone's characters so much.
From what I'm reading about the game, you need to unlock the ability to take screenshots? I haven't got very far yet so I can't take them I think, but I'll put up a pic of my character when I can.
Got distracted last night and ended up watching a movie (And playing while watching, heheh) and then it was 1 o'clock. I'm gonna get back into it in a bit and hopefully start actually doing stuff. (:
I went for a Miner's life, digging for ores just sounding like fun. I dunno how long I'll stick with it yet, but I want to go as far as I can for now.

thank you very much
unlocking the screenshots is actually very easy. I think it's possible after you finished the first chapter of the main story. one of flutter's requests is about the guild office, so after you go there and everything is explained, go to the link clerk in the back and have him explain you screenshots and voila
I cant stop myself from playing so fast =x= I got to the 3rd town and I think I`m just finishing up the story here, found out why the king is so tiny too xD too funny
the only reason the plot is moving so fast is cuz I want the bliss =x=
EDIT: oh ya, it also turns out
Spoiler:
that kid that you see in the pre-release videos who looks dark, he's not actually evil xD I still think he's kinda cute though, I honestly thought he was the final boss

you can get bliss a lot of ways. you get bliss for ranking up your life, getting allies, leveling up etc.
one way how I got a lot of bliss at the beginning was by getting all the password items and then selling those I don't need. some of them sell quite well, so you have a lot of money and you get bliss for earning certain amounts of money

oh I`ll try that, I`ve accumulated a few of the money bliss points so idk how much I need for the next one, but I`ll do that after I do a few more of the missions, I`m not strong enough to go to the next town xD on the way through the dessert I couldn't even damage the cactus-like things

do you invite allies to your group? they're really helpful. some of my favorite are Laura, Olivia and Odin. they really help when leveling up, because you kill monsters faster etc.
if you want we can also play multiplayer and I'll help you with stronger monsters so you can level up a bit

no, not yet anyway, right now I`m just hoarding xD and trying to get my own horse... I`m still in the splurging part of the game, I`m not ready to do multiplayer yet, I haven't set up my roots yet I guess you can say xD but the game is seriously text heavy, I`ve started skipping some things...
This game is sucking the life from my 3DS batteries. P: I'm letting it charge for now. In the mean time, I've got a screenshot of my character now!
Spoiler:
I'm enjoying running around the grassy plains right now. The little cutscene that plays when you first get there is adorable. Exploring is just really fun. All the environments are so colorful. < 3 And it's rather satisfying picking up materials all over the place.

I'm staying in the first town as long as possible. Getting all the classes I want up to apprentice first, then moving on. Right now I'm an Apprentice Miner, Woodcutter and Blacksmith. Carpenter is next. I may have to do Tailor also since some of their items are needed in Blacksmithing.
