mhm that's odd. do you have the DLC? and even without the DLC you should have 5 spotsSukitheFallen wrote: I only have 3 slots....
One is return to room.
The other is Port Puerto Home and the last is "???"
Am I missing something?
@Ophelia11:
Good to know.
I'm not really spending it on anything else.
I try to be self sufficient. xD
Which is slowly getting more difficult.

I haven't done blacksmithing yet, but if it is anything like carpentry and the tailor mini game, your efficiency, speed, and tool affect your quality. I do not believe that you need to use tool upgrade to complete this quest.LeBurns wrote:I have a specific question.
I have a request to make a Good quality iron hammer. I've tried several times and can't seem to get it. I just got some item that says 'Tool Upgrade'. Apparently it's suppose to upgrade a tool, but I can't figure out how to use it. It's a consumable so do I just select it, click 'Use' and then it will allow me to select a hammer? I just don't want to screw up and loose the thing as it's the only one I've gotten.
Isa is right, blacksmithing is a lot like carpentry. maybe you have to level up the skill more and get better tools. also your stats also affect it. luck for example improves the crafting quality, but just a bit. and about the tool upgrade, no idea what exactly you mean, but it is not required to make the good quality iron hammerIda wrote:I haven't done blacksmithing yet, but if it is anything like carpentry and the tailor mini game, your efficiency, speed, and tool affect your quality. I`m not 100% certain about this, but I believe those crystals are to be added in when you make something, like how it says you can change the quantity of items crafted, you can also add another item into the mix, but that option is only unlock-able after a certain life rank, but like I said idk for sure so dont quote me on it
That sounds likely and would also explain why I can't figure out how to do it. I must not have the skill yet. Time to work on the Blacksmith life...ShiniSnowDemon wrote:I`m not 100% certain about this, but I believe those crystals are to be added in when you make something, like how it says you can change the quantity of items crafted, you can also add another item into the mix, but that option is only unlock-able after a certain life rank, but like I said idk for sure so dont quote me on it

ShiniSnowDemon is right. Those crystals are used when you get to expert in black smithing. At that point, you'll get a skill that allows you to add an element or a Crystal to the item that you are creating. I just recently got the skill. The quality is how quickly and efficiently you time your button presses when making the item. Great or top quality could be substituted in place for good quality in a quest item.

Re: the vacation houses, the third is in Al Majeek, and the house is 100,000 dosh, fourth is in the Elderwoods and it's 150,000 dosh, the fifth one (not gonna say where heh) is 200,000 dosh, but I have no idea where the sixth one is. And I am LOVING this game!!!!! The only lives I havent done yet is magician, alchemist and cook. Although like a dummy I already beat the story.... Now I wish I'd gone a bit slower.... O well, still having fun!!!!!!!!
The 6th one is probably on Origin Island. I've only bought the Port house and I moved out of the attic and into the log house in Castlele. An update! I'm level 24, on chapter 6 and am a master angler. They gave me a cute little song with lyrics pertaining to the life I mastered.
Edit: Just finished the storyline. What a wonderful ending! Can't wait to start the Origin Island DLC.

you can actually beat it quit fast, because there is no level requirement or anything to proceed with the story, you just have to complete flutter's requests, which is just talking to different people. during the main story points there are some fights, but you rarely fight alone and they also don't require a high level (I won't say why, that would be a bit of a spoiler)lostsongs wrote:How much game time does it take to beat the story?
so if you really just do the story without leveling your skills and jobs you could be done with the main story in a few hours...it's really mostly talk

Yeah that's kinda what I did, and I really wish I'd gone a bit slower, but now I'm having fun trying out all the different lives.Ophelia11 wrote:you can actually beat it quit fast, because there is no level requirement or anything to proceed with the story, you just have to complete flutter's requests, which is just talking to different people. during the main story points there are some fights, but you rarely fight alone and they also don't require a high level (I won't say why, that would be a bit of a spoiler)lostsongs wrote:How much game time does it take to beat the story?
