Will the new menu be:
1) Has Black Tea and Rice Candy(Menu Determines ahead of time like weather)
2) Has Tofu Salad and Apple Pie(Menu Changes on game load)

Actually the weather can change for the very same day if you reset--Not sure why, but I saw the weather change a previous time trying to change it, but now it won't...guess it coincided with a festival. As for shop inventory changing....I couldn't tell you about the food shops but the general stores do seem to have a preset alternative inventory if you reset(Diego's shop ALWAYS has flour(and some other things I pay no attention to...flour means PROFIT!) after a reset for me, at least in spring).

I'm pretty sure it should reset to a new menu. Unless you're stuck in a freeze (happens when you reset too much--to fix a freeze buy an item from the shop and sell it).
