Yep, you can use the other farm's makers and fields. Just not its barn or house.
The point of moving towns is to expand the other farm. You can't expand Bluebell from living in Konohana, and vice versa.
Konohana gets the deal of being better at making money, and being the better town to start in, however, there's absolutely no reason to live in Konohana once it's full expanded. It's always better to live in Bluebell afterwards, since it has a larger barn, and you can still use everything in Konohana.

I don't know that Kono is better to start in. Sure you can get off to a quicker start on cooking, and growing crops is a helluva lot easier in the first two weeks(and in general...damn wandering animals), but the crop festivals only give some friendship and some fairly useless item. The animal festival does that too, but you ALSO have a chance at getting golden eggs/milk or great wool. You also get the makers on the Bluebell farm a season earlier.
The rest of it, yeah. With 5 star pineapples and the seed maker, your days of making thousands of bowls of rice porridge or pieces of toast for money are OVER.

The makers in Bluebell aren't that good for profit, and you start off with an already aged cow and chicken (that die much quicker, so it's almost pointless to bothering leveling their produce).
Even with golden products, it's such an annoyingly small chance (20% it says XD My luck must suck because it seemed I might get one or two a season), only for a single animal, and can be difficult to even boost FP high enough to win the very first time you enter.
I still stick by starting in Konohana and unlocking the seed maker as fast as possible for maximum profit. You can buy a cow and chicken immediately in Konohana (albeit a baby, but you can still start leveling them for multiple produce and FP while they're young) if you want, but that week of not being able to grow crops in Bluebell can actually be a fairly big difference in money.

In the first spring money is no object....after the 8th. You can get flour from Diego every day in spring if rice isn't available from Raul, just reset if it isn't part of his inventory for that day and voila, free money. Til the 8th grab everything you can off the mountain and hand fish til you're sick of it and you'll have more money than you can spend in your entire first year(I keep resetting so I have no clue how far 1 million will ultimately go

)

Honestly, if I was going to play relying on the bread/rice trick... I'd just pull out my AR and give myself as much cash as I want ^^" I guess to each their own. I stand by my statement XD
