I just reached Year 11 on Tale of Two Towns. Then again, that might be because I've played it almost non-stop for the past 4 months. I really don't mean to sound like I'm bragging, because I'm really not. But what I'm wondering is how far have you guys gotten in the game before you gave up or if you're still playing it?

I'm going to confess here... despite loving the idea of Oracle/wanting to marry her, I have yet to even get into Fall of Year 1 in this game. It's a great game and has a lot of fun characters, but for some reason it just never stuck with me very well from a mechanical standpoint. I've restarted it several times but...

same here. I love the game and the characters, but after a while (mostly around fall/winter year 1) I just kinda give up, because it just takes ages expanding both farms. so I've never actually played past year 1

I play this on and off. Though it's certainly my favorite HM for the 3/DS. So far.

I'm currently in the autumn of year 3.

I'm currently in Spring Year 3 married to Mikhail with a baby on the way.

Year 7, saw my baby grow to the toddler stage and then quit.

In my girl file, I got to summer of Year 2. I grew impatient with waiting for the farm and housing renovations to pop up.

Currently, I am going through the game again in my boy file. I am getting very close to the end of Year 1, and I feel more into it this playthrough. Plus, I am considering marrying Alisa, and I haven't even unlocked her yet.

just out of curiosity, because I've noticed that this the second time that you have responded to Mabbie's posts about ToTT by answering that she once said that it was the worst game ever: do you have a problem with her or her opinion of the game?

Well, considering I really like ToTT, and several others also said the same thing. I was just curious how she willed herself to get that far.

obviously everyone has different opinions on different games and others saying that they didn't like ToTT doesn't mean that it is less good than others. I can understand that you maybe get defensive when it comes to a game you really like, I'm the same. I just don't understand why you keep repeatedly pointing out what she once said about it. yes, maybe she doesn't like the game, but maybe that's also an opinion she formed after playing through 7 years and not before

Well, I apologize, and I'm sorry to you too, Mabbie, for overanalyzing your opinion. I was just upset that so many people called ToTT the worst game in the series, but that's no excuse for my behavior.

If it makes you feel any better, I think ToTT is the best DS/3DS harvest moon so far.
