Ah yeah, that's true. It's better than just waiting. What's the difference between a reset and a soft reset?

A soft reset is holding down the two shoulder buttons and hitting start, which takes you back to the game's title screen.
A reset-reset, I believe, is going completely out to the Home menu, or turning the DS off then back on again. I think.
