I picked this game during the weekend sale. I'm just about to finish my first spring, and had enough money to buy a new horse cart. I think I got the striped one (5,000) plus one upgrade (2,000 I think), but the actual cart still sitting in my farm is the old two bag cart, and I can't find the new one. He took my money, because I went from almost 10,000 to broke, and I'm hoping I didn't get scammed.

I'm afraid I never played enough to upgrade the cart in my game, but I'll try to help.

I'm looking at Cher's page on the carts, and maybe you need to go inside your house and house and press A at the mini horse cart on your side table to change it to the new one?

Or perhaps the new one is somewhere and you just need to find it/it doesn't replace your old one? Or maybe it takes a day to show up/be delivered?

If all else fails, do you have a previous save you can load before you bought it?

No you didn't get scammed. Go to the mini-horse cart in your house and you can pick which cart you're using there. It's easy to overlook a first time through on account of it appearing to be nothing more than non-interactive decoration at first, since you have no cart it has no function.

Just be aware too that once you switch to a cart with more capacity and fill allthe slots for storage, you can't go back to a previous cart without throwing items out or selling them.
