Where is my wheat? :((

So I planted wheat early in summer, and by the end of autumn, it was *almost* ready to harvest. However, winter came around faster than the maturing of my wheat crops, though i didn't really worry about it since I read here that wheat goes dormant during winter. But it's spring now and I don't know where it is. ;n; it's not appearing on my field. ( can someone help, please?

I'm guessing it might have died or your game glitched. if you still can't find it try planting it earlier in the year

Wheat takes 2 months to mature I thought. Plant your wheat in the spring so by fall its ready to be harvested
