I haven't played this game in months

I'm thinking about starting over with this game. Has anyone here actually gotten all of the islands raised? It seems like for me it will never happen

I got all the islands raised except like, one of the farm ones.

It doesn't take long if you mine a lot and give out gelatin, because so many people love it. Now as for maxim utilization of the islands... that takes a lot longer. XD

Is it really so hard to raise all islands (except Sunny)? I've played the early parts of this game three times - only once did I get to marriage and further so far -, and always had all islands (again, except Sunny, obviously) in my 1st year and never had the feeling that I was trying particularly hard.

Just make it a habit to talk to everybody everyday and give gifts as much as possible (as the person before me pointed out, gelatin is loved by a lot of people) until you have everybody at 2 hearts, then you will get the largest bulk of the stones, which comes from individual and household gifts. After that you can start ignoring the people you don't like XD Gradually upgrading the farm to get animals and ship crops as you go along helps too, and doing enough mining, mushroom shipping and fishing to get the stones for shipping 100 of these... Once one gets the hang of it, it goes really quickly.

In my best game I'm in Summer of year 3 now and am only missing 6 stones towards getting Sunny Island - the one from my kid, two from machines, two from shipping tree fruits (stupid trees kept dying so I couldn't grow any until I got enough gold lumber), and a last one I can't remember.

I think that would be doable in 3 years, esp if you follow Cher's guide and such it should be easy to do it within that timeline.

If you mean ALL islands, it might become hard because you need trees and your kid on stage 2 (which takes 2 years) to get the final sun stones. If you mean anything BUT sunny island, that's no problem at all. Btw, I don't think wanting to have all islands by year 3 is impatient, look at me getting them all in year 1 I think it'd make me crazy having to wait much longer, especially because the game becomes so much better once you've unlocked all areas.
