Question about points

On the HM5 site, it says that each event is worth 1 Event Point (usually) and sometimes other points as well. My question is, in the events where you have to answer something, will picking the wrong choice still get you the points? Or do you get the points regardless of whether or not feelings are hurt?

Well I would think that you couldnt get the points if feelings are hurt but if thats the only time that those points come you might get the full effect regardless. You have to level out the pros and cons before you are certain.

hmm...
I think that you would get points just for seeing the event. you get 'punished' enough just for choosing the wrong thing and having the person dislike you

I'd say you probably get the points if you just see the event. It would make more sense that way, in my opinion.

Okay, so here's what you all are saying- you always get the Event Points whether or not you hurt someone's feelings. But what about the Villager Points? It seems like those would be points you should only get from being nice to the villagers...

Villager points naturally rise up. You hardly have to do any work to receive them

It's like the game randomly throws around Villager points because it can.
"*poof* here, have some points!"
I guess I could do a littering-experiment to see if my 1000 Villager points drop *eek* The Equipment points fluctuate for some reason. I just used my basket a lot one day and I lost a point. It's really strange.
I betcha Goroh can decipher the game and find out why
