I always though a Rune Factory inspired anime would be fun, if they did it right. The characters would make for an interesting plotline, even if it wasn't based directly off the games, especially rune factory 3 (which is a controversial one for sure but a fun one to me and my personal favorite).
I'd love a rf anime but let's face it, chances are if they do make one they''ll turn it into some generic ecchi/harem anime >.> just look at the rf4 manga >_<
