I want to know why the RF fans actually like the games. I like this series of games because it brings a farming/town life/dating/hero type of experience. In the RF games you always have that feeling that you are free and nothing is being pushed on you,if you prefer to hang around the town and chat with people, you can! If you prefer trying to level up your character and get past all of the monsters you can do that too! I personally love just hanging around town and trying to woo the girls. Why do you like RF games?

I really like the Rune Factory series because of its variety and character diversity. All the designs for the characters are perfect and fit the world they live in. The game itself also has the fantasy+farming aspect that I've been looking for.

The reason I like it is there's a ton to do and, as you said, you're not being forced to do anything. If I'm stuck in a dungeon I can stop and focus on crafting or farming or whatever I'm feeling at the time. It has a variety that I've never really experienced with the mainline series and I absolutely love that.

YES! Whenever I was typing this I forgot about the characters. Magic I really like all the characters designs too and like you said, they fit their world perfectly! I agree with you Queen, lol,it makes it fun when you are not being forced to beat a dungeon or a boss,in most games like that there's nothing else to do but do that and those games bore me. Thanks you guys! I love to hear other peoples opinions!

I loved playing Harvest Moon when I was growing up. It was a quirky, odd niche of a game that had the right amounts of farming and life simulation in it that could hold my attention for hours. Then Rune Factory came along and added a fantasy setting with swords, monsters, and blowing « Cow Poopoo » up with fireballs.
How the hell could I not love such a bizarre combination?
