RF4: Dylas, Leon, or Doug?

Originally I was all 'Leon!' But saw his event with Maria and all that soo kinda liikke 'Maybeee nooot?' Even though Frey is fine I'm not so sure I can let her get married to a guy who's girlfriend he STILL loves is dead, you know xD I don't know what do you guys think?

Maria wasn't his girlfriend though. In his marriage event he states he only saw her like a little sister; she was the one who was in love with him. Not to mention she found happiness and married another man in the end, so it's really not all too bad!

I personally like Dylas the most out of those three, but that's just me. I can't stand Doug, and Leon, while awesome, I didn't like him as a husband for Frey as much as I thought I would. Dylas has some really good character development imo that spans the whole storyline and going from friends to lovers. Doug is pretty much the worst battle-wise if you compare to the others if that's something that matters to you, but really, choose who you like best!

Honestly, the most I can remember him talking about her is one mention when it's about to become Fall and the occasional interaction you get when you speak to her about x subject and he's in the same room... Is there really subtext in their relationship or am I just oblivious?

I... think he just has his normal conversations? I mean, there's no rival marriage mechanic in RF4. No need to worry about that, at least.

While I can't speak for marriage life with Dylas, Doug, or Leon, I will say that I never thought Leon had the hots for Forte. He makes fun of her like he makes fun of Doug or Dylas, cause it's so easy to get a reaction out of them. That's how I took it anyways.

Anywho, if I only had a choice between those three it'd be a tie between Doug and Dylas. They both grow the further you go along in the story (especially Doug) and I just really like the development they have. If I really had to pick between those two, it'd be Dylas solely because he's more useful and available earlier than Doug to go dungeon diving. That's just me though. It's hard to pick who you like the most, so I understand the frustration lol

I've married Dylas and Leon. Dylas is pretty much one of the best husbands in the game, his events are cute, and funny. He genuinely cares and worries about your safety, he ranks up there with Arthur. I was married to Leon, he makes a great lover, and his marriage proposal event left me in tears (I found the story to be so sweet and heartbreaking). BUT he makes a terrible husband, at first I was alright with his teasing, and him wanting to cause trouble because I was used to it when we were lovers. Then the pregnancy event happened and that's when I started to dislike him, I did some reloads to see his reaction to all three choices. The one where you leave it to fate, he was like "indecisive like always.", the boy choice he was fine with, and lastly the girl choice "I'll protect her and make sure she knows how to choose wisely with men." it was something close to that. When my character said something about the subject, he said "would you want her to marry someone like Bado?" At that point, that caused me to save over the file with my Arthur file, and create a guy file. I'm sorry, I'm all for being protective but come on, man. Dylas is protective but isn't as bad as Leon, now, I don't know about Doug. I may not know anything about him and how he is marriage wise, I never really had an interest in him. If I do make a file, it will just see the character development.

I've always loved Leon. Even before I got the game. But he doesn't develop at all after marriage, which sucks.

I was super Doug when I first got the game. I really liked his personality. However, when I couldn't raise his heart level and Dylas game into the picture... Gaaah. Dylas has great character development. At first I was like "Whatever. He's alright." but the more I got to know him the more I got to like him.

Well first of all, yes, don't ask such silly questions of me fishie-chan. If I could, I'd mod this game to give me a Bado wedding and dates at the forge would be cool because when you get to ten hearts he'd make you this totally awesome-OP gear/accessory and be all blushy like "d-don't expect me to put this much effort in for free okay?" And then you pay him in a hug or peck on the cheek or something and then he makes another money pun XD

Secondly, I liked Dylas a lot as a husbando waifu-kun-chan but if I ever was like "okay I'm gonna bring one of these guys to life and try to woo them" then it'd be Doug because I'm a sucker for a tsundere but they'd be so much effort irl XD Like, I'm glad you're grateful and all Dylas but I'm not giving you sashimi everyday, I'd have no fingers left.

Doug just seems...idk, 'normal' yet still fun? XD There's something about him I really like and it's totally not Yuri Lowenthal I don't know what you're talking about

If a modded RF4 like that existed I'd totally play it. I'm a sucker for puns. I think it'd be funny if one day you woke up super rich because Bado found a way to make money without scamming people, but then somehow blows it and you go back to how much money you had.

And I get what you mean about Doug. When my sisters found out he liked to eat and sleep they said he'd be perfect for me. That and they said all the other guys basically looked like girls Also wait waht? Lowenthal is Doug? :D Yesssss.

Myself, I'm staring to prefer vishnal out of all the guys.

Dylas, it takes someone strong to date him. Someone who doesn't get upset at yelling. someone that can handle Doug and his odd relationship. He is a very flawed character and tries his best but even after marriage he can still be loud mouth and tell shut up.

leon, can be sweet and romantic but he also says the weirdest things. He takes a while to warm up to.

i don't know much about Doug because he is too late in the game for me too romance.

It depends how people perceive a character.

Personally, I really like Doug as lover and husband. His flag events are kinda unreal/silly and he has some flaws, but he has lot of charm as well. He is playful, confident and he's sucker for Frey. Sometimes he says stuff like it's a pain to do something, but Frey knows how to tease him which makes him ending up with strong protest to Frey ridiculous suggestions, all flushed and saying embarrassing stuff. Occasionally, he worries about Blossom (Yeah, I've fallen for this grandma trap). I really liked this event with lucky charms

Doug is post game so i really don't want to date him. I don't know why he can't be first arc like everyone else. I know I know for story reasons but with little effort Doug of been one of the best characters. Frey and Doug relationship would be rocky first arc but start to turn into real love in the second arc.

I love Dylan and Leon a lot. Leon I made a file for each of them xD though Leon only slight more cause of his character design. I enjoyed both of their story lines though ^^
