I haven't tried! But I think you need to speak with Agate to leave when your animals are there rather than using the stable, so she wouldn't let you leave on your own.

I don't know if you've noticed, but on the first post, the link to Fritz's third rival event is wrong. The second rival event is there twice.
Nothing too serious, and an honest mistake, i was just going through them i noticed.

(I dont want to make a new thread and clog things up so I'll just ask here if its okay)

how do I get crops to go above 1 star? I get that you're supposed to use fertilizer, but I'm apparently not doing something right and I never get the results I want.

it takes a lonnnng while! i've been fertilizing my soybeans for an entire month and a half and it's only 2 stars now. but now when i grow more, they'll START at 2 stars.

another thing is by letting your friends do their wand magic on your crops. that helps too but i have yet to use multiplayer ^^;

there's also the super mario crops

I meant that I get them to 1 whole star, make them to seeds and repeat the process, but they stay at 1 star. Do I need to fertilize them every day?

Yes, fertilize them every day if you can. It's still a slow process, but eventually you'll get it. Also, when you get the seed maker be sure to make seeds out of your higher quality crops so that you don't have to start over. Eventually you'll get them to 5 stars this way.

TIP IF ANYBODY KNEW OR CARED: if you have an item that doesn't fit in the R-shoulder button hot-click category, then you can select it from your rucksack and press x! that's what the last column is used for :P
i just figured that one out because i give Agate fish-feed, so now i don't have to go all the way to my backpack to find it.

idk if y'all knew that i found it pretty exciting. now continue exhaling carbon dioxide as waste at your own expense

Another thing I've found is that you should only fertilize a small amount of crops, just enough to plant the next generation and storage some seeds for trading/if something goes wrong. I find that 1 row (about 4 fields) works well. This way you won't run out of fertilizer and stamina as quickly plus it takes less time.

I finally hit Summer of Year 1 and I have a quick question! What's the first big purchase I should save up for? A seed maker? Or a coop? It feels so weird playing a Bokumono game and raising no chickens.. but I heard the seed maker is a great income tool..

I personally got the seed maker first then coop and then sewing shed. ^^ wool brings in a lot once you turn it to yarn, dye it, and turn it into cloth. It's just time consuming.
