So this may be a bit spoilery... But basically I'm wondering if something that happened was suppose to happen or if it just so happened because of the party I had with me.

Basically this is after the whole Sechs Solider coming and defeating his monster form. I beat him with my party member Dylas. After Doug goes to the clinic and I visit him with Dylas. Now while I'm there Doug asks why Dylas is there and Dylas says something along the lines he just wanted to see his face all beat up? I forget what was said exactly. Anyway my question is would Dylas of show up regardless of whether or not he was in my party? Or did that dialogue occur because he was in my party?

No, he would of been there regardless of if he was in your party or not. Dylas is apart of that little seen so sorry if you brought someone else to that they would of said nothing (you know unless their suppose to be there.)
