I used to be A dylas fan girl, I dated him and married him. Everything was fine til the baby scene. What he said to frey during that seen was uncalled for. I spent so much time and effort on courting him only to have my heart broken in the end. I knew what his archetype is but after you marry him he is a total sweetheart til that one scene. Frey should of yelled at him when noel wasn't around. I don't even want to be married to Dylas after that. After that I watched all the baby scene and leon and vishnal have the best, while arthur is like what the?

I thought it was super cute myself. What exactly bothered you about it?

I also really liked Arthur's as well, so I guess it just comes down to personal taste.

We see things different then. I just didn't like it because dylas was a total sweetie after the marriage event, and then tells frey to shut up when she was just saying he is a good father. It was just sad because he hasn't been like that since 5 hearts. I just felt it was uncalled for but I don't know that's just how I feel about it, others may feel different.

Understandable.

I didn't take it like that though, I took it more as a kneejerk reaction to her sneaking up on him while he was being tender to his kid, not that he was being malicious about it. He stammers it out being caught off-guard, and Frey takes no offense to it (she even cackles at him going "hehehehe") so I personally didn't see the problem. Considering his backstory I give him a bit of leeway because he's gone through so much an has been isolated for so long, that social interactions (even with someone he loves) can be awkward and he doesn't always say the right things, much like it happens in real relationships. I can see how it could bother someone though, so I do see what you're saying.

I've done something similar to my husband before, funny enough lol.

It took me a while to understand the yelling no boys ever, since frey had noel. I know he wasn't being mean. I just got used to him being calm and not yelling.

Out of curiosity, what heart level did you marry Dylas at? For me he is at Lv27 and still won't marry. Am I doing something wrong?

Methinks you're being just the sliiiightest bit overdramatic. Dylas is manifest socially awkward. He gets embarrassed and flustered easily, and lashes out on reflex as a defensive measure. He's being protective and embarrassed. I honestly found the whole moment cute and hilarious. Dylas is such an awkward turtle. <3

Maybe your right, dylas can be amusing most of the time.
The Doug stuff is overplayed and makes you feel like your getting in the way.
He worries about Doug and even who Doug going to marry.

My bf and I tell each other to shut up constantly lol it's not in a bad way, it's just like an automatic response. When I get embarrassed or flustered, I just say omg shut up like "stop you're being so nice and idw you to see me blushing" or something along those lines. I mean, everyone's different and I know me and my family and friends say things that typically are supposed to be offensive as terms of endearment or just aren't a big deal. Like if I call you a « Snuggly Bunny » loser or nerd, you know I love you lol it's just how some people are

It made me laugh. My fiance is a very ornery man, which is part of why I love him, and I jokingly call him an « Duck Quacker » because that's just how we tease each other. My parents are adorably in love and they're the same way. My dad actually probably looks at my mom with the most love when she calls him a "mean" name compared to calling him something that's traditionally nice like honey or baby. Maybe it's because of how I was raised that that particular Dylas interaction didn't phase me though. There's nothing wrong with being sensitive toward your character being told to shut up. Everyone wants their relationship a bit different. I get upset when people tell me to shut up if they mean it in a rude way but when it's teasing or I can tell they're just flustered I don't let it bug me because I'm too busy thinking it's so cute that they're that awkward.

It's how I was raised why it gets to me so much. I know it's just a game.
But I play games to escape from the shut up and the loud talking. Now I have a new game I'm wondering what I seen in dylas. I wish he was calm and nice all the time.

But he's not? I mean, that's the appeal of his character is that he isn't nice all the time. You have to get to know him and get close to him for you to see his guard come down and he starts warming up to you and becomes nicer. Some characters are just nice all the time and that's ok, but being socially awkward is like.. One of his key characteristics. Seems kind of odd to me that you went after him in the first place if you have such an issue with his attitude now? I'm sorry if that sounds rude but you just seem really unhappy with him as a character so I'm kind of confused that's all
