So, after winning the Critter Catching Contest last year, I decided to pass this year and just attend the opening and closing ceremonies... and here are what the two darling, jolly old men I have come to adore told me.
"If they fly, there's no chance of catching up with them. It's sucks." -- Hossan (WHAT?!)
"I don't give a ... about winning the Critter Festival. You don't have to be that depressed." -- Clement (HELLO?!)
I feel like the most infamously inappropriate line in ANB is Soseki's "nicely trimmed bush" comment... but have any other villager comments just completely blown you out of the water?
Well it is rated E:
EVERYONE
Content is generally suitable for all ages. May contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.
Oh man. I have never seen Soseki's bush comment. How do you get it?
I take pictures every time someone says something weird, which I feels happens fairly often. The first one I ever noticed was at the Sheep Festival. If you talk to Rebecca she says something like "Dunhill told me a I look like a Suffolk? What does that mean?" I'm like "Rebecca. It means Dunhill is racist."
Though not exactly colorful, my favorite weird comment is Sandra's at the Alpaca Festival: "I don't like alpaca. You never know what they're plotting behind those cute faces."
You think THAT stuff is good? Try talking to Camellia at, I think the Cow Festival? Either that or the Yak...she starts blatantly wondering if Rebecca's chest is so large because she drinks a lot of milk.
Actually, those two in general make for quite a bit of 'colorful' details, especially if you see their random event where they argue over it.
The comments about Dunhils creepy camera photo taking (it's an event I think) amused me he only seemed to have photo albums for Alltel women w/o he had taken pictures of without them knowing
And of course Rebecca and Camilla talks about chest sizes
Oh and sosekis I'm such and old man dating a young child thing
Certainly those were all odd thing to be included in a game that is played by both children and adults xD

Haha, oh man. How did I forget that one. Yeah, that was a good one too.
