Crops in new seasons?

When do crops die after a new season comes? Like how soon after summer comes will strawberries die? It's been 2 days and they're still alive n' kickin'.

In normal or good soil I think they last 3 days into the new season.

It's day 6 now and my strawberries are fine? Do they not die?

In a gravel field the crops die at seasons end. In a regular field the crops survive until the 3rd of the new season, and in a soil field they last until the 7th.
