I have Raegar to a pink flower and I haven't gotten any new dialogue from him since I entered a relationship with him at green heart.

I've tried talking to him all over, at different times on each day of the week and in new locations but I'm not getting ANY new dialogue out of him. I got new dialogue out of him for his first couple flower level increases. I'm wondering if it's a glitch or if this is just how the game is?? I don't get it and it's pretty disappointing. I'm so used to HM games giving me new dialogue with each heart/flower increase. I know the game doesn't officially come out until tomorrow, but I'm wondering if anyone else who got the game early is having any issues like this?

Well, that's a little concerning. There definitely should be a new line at each flower level. Silly suggestion, but have you tried getting out of the game and then loading back into it to see if that helps anything? Also, could you write what the current line you're getting from him under spoilers? I want to compare it to the Japanese one.

I have tried exiting the game and rebooting my 3DS... Hasn't seemed to help :/

Well, the week thing isn't surprising really. Normally that's the amount of time the NPCs will remark on big changes like that. So, that's to be expected I believe. But he should still be saying something... Cute so long as you're in a relationship.

Hm... So he's stopped indicating that his Flower level changed through dialogue. Are any of the other bachelors doing this? Do they change dialogue when you get their flower color up a level?

Yeah, it seems so... Klaus is the only other bachelor whose flower level I'm raising and his dialogue is still seeming to change with each flower color... That said, it's been a while since it's changed since I only have butterflies to give him, but it did change when his flower level changed when I was in a relationship with Raegar.

The one about but that's still weird that you haven't seen the actual flower dialogue yet since you've been dating him from a green flower.

Sorry to be of no help ;_; I certainly hope it isn't a bug though, especially since he's one, if not the most popular bachelor it seems.

I don't have the game yet, so I'm only running on what I know from ANB. Whenever I talked with Neil while he was somewhere like the mines, I'd get generic dialogue. Like he'd tell me what he thought about the town. But if my stamina was low enough, he'd say something along the lines of to not overwork myself and here's a snack. However, in order to definitely get the new heart dialogue, I talked to him in his house. You've definitely been talking to Raeger at his house while he's not working, right? If you've done that for like, 3 days straight and he keeps saying the generic stuff, then I honestly have no clue what to do. At that point, I'd definitely take it up with Tom on the XSeed forums.

EDIT: Are you also talking to him multiple times a day? The dialogue will change depending on the time after all...

Yeah, I've definitely been talking to him in his house when he's not working (before work and after work), when he's walking around town, in the trade depot and when he's wandering around the forest-y area directly above town, all for several in-game seasons. No-go on flower dialogue.

I tweeted at XSeed and an employee tweeted back and recommended I try talking to him on his day off when he sometimes goes to the inn... I had to reset a bunch of times because he wouldn't go to the inn, but he finally did AND I GOT A NEW PIECE OF DIALOGUE. Which is weird because I swear that before we started dating, he would give me flower-related dialogue in his restaurant before it opened. Kind of sucks that he'll only give it in this one spot on one day a week that he often doesn't seem to go to. Klaus will say his whenever he's in his house which is every day, multiple times during the day.

BUT, at least it's something... Too bad I missed all those other pieces of dialogue though :/

On his day off, huh... And well you said that Raeger gave you flower related dialogue in his restaurant before it opened. The only difference between him and Klaus at the moment is the commitment ring. I don't know if Klaus will still give you flower dialogue like that if you start dating him. It is strange that he'll only give you the new dialogue at the Inn of all places... Odd, but it's something I suppose.

I'm glad you got some new dialogue, but that's really odd that it's so specific for him. I'm curious to see when other people get the game if they get the same results seeing his flower lines while dating.

Yeah, very strange. I just assumed he would give it in his house, but I followed him around a lot because I had noticed quite a while ago that I stopped getting new dialogue from him, but I don't think I talked to him at the inn too much because I rarely ever saw him there, and the time when he is there (mid afternoon on some Wednesdays) I was usually doing other in-game things. Maybe he always gave it in the inn and I just never realized? I don't know. But I suppose I'll probably try to dump him and marry Klaus or Nadi and marry Raegar on my second file... too much missed dialogue!

I totally understand, I absolutely hate missing dialogue like that. Good luck on breaking up with him because it takes foreverrrr to lower their flower level. I did it on my Mistel file for fun (I wanted to see his reaction, I'm a horrible person) and it's really quite silly all the hoops you have to go through to break up with someone. I hope they'll change it for future titles :/

To break up with them, what flower color do you need to get them to? Please don't tell me it's all the way back to white... x: Unfortunately I have no idea how to make mango wine yet (his horror gift) and I only have one poisonous mushroom on-hand (his ONLY hated gift)! So I'm stuck with giving him rocks and weeds for -300 FP per day... ugh! Maybe I could just lower it back down to green to see the dialogue I missed and then raise it again to marry him? Pretty cruel, haha.

It's so unfortunate that they would make his flower-level dialogue only appear in such a specific, obscure spot for him to be in. It definitely doesn't feel like you're dating him when he almost never says anything relationship-oriented...

According to Cher's guide, you need to bring the candidate all the way back down to at least a Purple flower if you want to break up with them. And then once it's at the purple level, you cannot talk to them for 31 days straight. You have to avoid them completely. This means avoiding random events and Festivals. Yeah, breaking up is kinda difficult to pull off... And kinda dumb...

Down to purple or lower D: Not only that, you have to COMPLETELY ignore them for 31 days after you've decreased them down to the purple flower (meaning festivals and basically everything). Such ridiculous requirements :/ They really need to change it next game.

Yeah, it might honestly be best if you lowered down a couple levels just to see the dialogue you missed and then go from there lol. A little cruel, but hey, will save you valuable time at least!
