i've read it probably won't have a midnight release, sadly
so does anyone have a good guess of when it'll be available?

Because it's not a first party, produced by Nintendo game, it's coming out at noon tomorrow (most likely). Noon EST, that is. If you're not in EST then just Google the time conversion.
